Ebike ride from I-45 to Rothwood Park in Spring, TX on the Spring Creek Greenway Trail

A new section of the Spring Creek Greenway Trail in north Houston has just been completed, connecting the former I-45 termination point with the ExxonMobil campus on Springwoods Village Parkway. This effectively extends the trail from 16 to 21 miles by closing the gap to the disconnected greenway section that leads to Rothwood Park. On this ride, I travel this 5 mile section on my Lectric XP Lite. Hopefully the county will eventually pave a direct trail between the creek and the ExxonMobil campus so that no streets have to be crossed but this little detour is helpful in the near term.
