Omg, welcome!! I live right across the river in Flatwoods ky!
Check out Riverview cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky, right behind the Greenup county health department. It's 15 minutes down river from ironton. The most famous grave there is Mary Magdalene Pitts, a little girl who was murdered 100 years ago.

I went to grade school in Russell, KY and my son was born at Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton. Sadly it it isn’t there anymore. Hope you enjoyed being in the Tristate area!! I hope you also came across into Ashland, KY to visit the Ashland Cemetery. LOTS of old graves there and many many stories! There is also a little girl buried in Greenup, KY that is a very sad story.
I like helping out kids on the road side stands myself as well
