- Perang Khaibar adalah pertempuran antara pasukan Muslim yang dipimpin oleh Nabi Muhammad ﷺ melawan komunitas Yahudi yang tinggal di benteng-benteng Khaibar, sekitar 150 km di utara Madinah, pada tahun 628 M (7 H). Perang ini terjadi setelah kaum Yahudi Khaibar dianggap mengancam keamanan umat Islam dengan mendukung musuh-musuh mereka. Pasukan Muslim berhasil mengepung dan menaklukkan benteng-benteng kuat Khaibar satu per satu, berkat strategi militer yang cermat. Kekalahan Yahudi di Khaibar menandai kemenangan penting bagi Islam dan memperkuat dominasi politik serta ekonomi umat Muslim di wilayah tersebut.

The neighbors saw us crying and talked to the neighbors again and gave us a deadline until the end of the week and we swore to God to let us out of the street now we are in arrears of 60 thousand Yemeni riyals for 3 months rent may God have mercy on us our country is suffering because of this war and we do not find our daily sustenance and we live my mother and sisters our father passed away may God have mercy on him and we do not have anyone in the world to come to us in these harsh circumstances my little sisters went out to the street and saw the neighbors eating and stood at their door giving them even a piece of bread and by God in whose hand is the heavens and the earth they closed the door and kicked them out and they came back crying dying of hunger no one has mercy on them and now the holiday has come back to me if no one of us helps us with a kilo of flour by God we will die of hunger brother I seek refuge in God and then in you and I want your help for the sake of God I ask you by God you love goodness and help me even if it is about the rent of the house send me a WhatsApp message on this number 00967711013075 and ask for my card name and send it and do not delay may God compensate you with all good My little sisters, look at their situation and help us and save us before they throw us out into the street and humiliate us or my family and I die of hunger. Kaum Muslimin sudah memasuki dan berada di wilayah Khaibar sebelum terbit fajar. Setelah menunaikan shalat Shubuh di daerah itu, penyerangan dilakukan sebelum matahari terbit. Kejadian di pagi buta itu tentu sangat mengejutkan penduduk Khaibar yang baru memulai aktifitas mereka. Mereka berlarian seraya berkata, “Muhammad dan prajuritnya.” Rasûlullâh Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam pun bersabda :
اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، خَرَبَتْ خَيْبَرُ، إِنَّا إِذّا نَزَلْنَا بِسَاحَةِ قَوْمٍ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذِرِيْنَ
Allâh Akbar, Khaibar akan runtuh. Sungguh jika kami turun di medan untuk melawan suatu kaum maka buruklah pagi hari orang-orang yang kami peringati[7]
Orang-orang Yahudi berlarian dan berlindung di balik benteng-benteng mereka, kemudian kaum Muslimin mengepung mereka. Bani Ghatfan berusaha menolong bani Khaibar, sekutu mereka. Namun setiap kali mereka bergerak, mereka khawatir kaum Muslimin berbalik arah menyerang mereka sehingga harta dan keluarga mereka terancam. Akhirnya mereka mengurungkan niat untuk membantu[8]. Sementara itu, kaum Muslimin mulai berhasil menaklukkan benteng-benteng Yahudi Khaibar. Benteng pertama yang jatuh ke tangan kaum Muslimin adalah benteng Nâ’im dan as-Sha’b di daerah Nathat kemudian benteng Abi Nizar di daerah as-Syiq. Kedua daerah ini bagian sebelah timur laut Khaibar. Kemudian benteng al-Qamûsh yang sangat kokoh di daerah al-Kutaibah. Benteng ini dihuni oleh putra Abul Huqaiq. Setelah itu, kaum Muslimin mampu menguasai dua benteng lagi di al-Wathih dan Sulâlim.
