Gohar wrote something similar on his website of Jal, way back in 2005 or 2007 when the song came. He wrote Atif went alone for concert, leaving me behind. I once went to attend Goher's concert. He was with Farhan. His band came late and did not perform as they had fight with school administration
this is the greed of money and fame i think when Atif became more famous in the band bcz of his unique voice and in general vocalist of the song get fame usually so the band members were jealous of him and this is where the fight begins starting frol Goher then Farhan and others, in the end if someone is getting more fame than you be humble and patient your time will come but respect that person first

First n far most when band was formed, its members were just teen agers. They got so much fame around the world n these youngsters didn't know how to handle the fame n bands' legal situation. Remember they didn't know anything about copyright, contracts n legal position of each n every member. However, Ghohar initiated the foundation of the band. He was the inventor. Now some problem with the Atif' family started as he wanted to appoint his relative to manage the accounts. At some point' Ghohar n Atif had some kind of conflict n argument due to which Atif left the band. He wanted to make his own identity by going to India n sang songs for Bollywood flims. No doubt he made his name in the music world. Yet' who showed him the path towards fame n money!! It was Gohar. Some credit must go to him. Now, here comes Farhan, who up till now never said anything about Ghohar or Atif, though he was totally amessed in the bad situation. He really picked up the band to its former stage of fame where Atif left. To be v honest he is the one singer who sings better than Atif n Ghoher. He is a born singer with natural flow of soulfulness n melody. No doubt Atif could easily carry the rythm n tune of the song v naturally n v tuned in, yet lacks soulfulness which is main ingredient of a meldious music. Same strategy applies to Ghohar singing, no suzz or soulfulness, yet he is most talented n expert guitarist in the world. Just listen the song Sajni where Farhan signing classical notes n Ghoher is playing guitar with the same notes. It is wonderful piece of art of classical music. Therefore guys, pl don't blame the break up of the band due to their fights n conflicts between them. It was all cicumtarncial situation which couldn't be avoided. Though imagine if they were togather to this day,what a beautiful music could v have enjoyed n listened.
Showbiz folks have got only 2-brain cells: 1. Fame 2. Money For them to reclaim their humanity back and regrow rest of their brain cells, they need to sacrifice one of the above.

Fame and money are double edge swords, "mazza Aye ga" element keeps friends together until money isn't involved and you had a marketing boy involved so you were clearly not doing it for fun itself you knew well how to guard your interests.. you were either too naive/immature if you thought otherwise or straight up lying a.s.a.t. Its that situation when you know you have a great voice and only need one chance or have a rich guy as friend who funds everything until you have a hit and bam you are off. Gohar was and is Multi-Talented at Singing/Composing/Guitarist and furthermost he has humbleness also he produces new stuff... Atif.. is a one trick Pony, however great that trick that may be (his Voice and Maybe Aadat on Guitar) which i agree is better than Farhan and Gohar, but that is his limit, that is why you only first saw him running to India for Bollywood gigs, but when Pak-India relations went sour he started making money by playing old songs at Coke studios... basically no new stuff. I agree with you on most points except one Aadat was sung better by Farhan(it was musically accurate, proper sur, proper rythm proper flow), Atif only plus there is that he sang it first and sold it to India. As for Goher Vs Atif, you are right Atif wanted quick cash and quick fame. In those time every band in Pakistan was against what Atif did, 1st because it tarnished Pakistan music scene in the eyes of whole world and 2nd because it was unethical to sell someone else's hardwork with his own name. Some bands even helped Goher start his band again by introducing Farhan Saeed as a vocalist to him, which to me speaks volumes in Goher's favor because no one would bring an innocent kid of 18(Farhan Saeed at that time) into such a huge mess if Goher was in the wrong.

Farhan didn't even know anything about the rift between Goher/Atif, He got to all this when Jal's and Atif's album had same songs. Farhan was dragged into their fight without having any part in it. This thing is even vouched by most of the bands from that time specially Call band who were mostly Farhan's seniors form his university, even Goher admits that Farhan was the innocent victim of his Atif rivilary.

In my personal Opinion.. Atif wanted to cash in foreign gigs when they were not well groomed, and Gohar realized it and was waiting for the right time.. but Atif wanted the cash quick!
baat aisa nehi hai. pyar hum india waale Gohar se bhi karte hai. infact Jal band was a huge hit and a cult following back then. school parties mein table bajake humlog jal hi gaate the. aatif to bad mein aaya. movies ke trhough.
I agree with you on most points except one Aadat was sung better by Farhan(it was musically accurate, proper sur, proper rythm proper flow), Atif only plus there is that he sang it first and sold it to India.
As for Goher Vs Atif, you are right Atif wanted quick cash and quick fame. In those time every band in Pakistan was against what Atif did, 1st because it tarnished Pakistan music scene in the eyes of whole world and 2nd because it was unethical to sell someone else's hardwork with his own name. Some bands even helped Goher start his band again by introducing Farhan Saeed as a vocalist to him, which to me speaks volumes in Goher's favor because no one would bring an innocent kid of 18(Farhan Saeed at that time) into such a huge mess if Goher was in the wrong.

@@legendofnothing1 A lie has to be repeated again and again. Goher gave a counter and true explanation once and that was enough for Goher to say it once. And Atif here is making accusations while Goher just gave an account of what happened without accusing anyone. When you are right you don't have to accuse others.

@@atifmunawarhussain8245 Dude Farhan joined Jal 3-4 months after Atif left Jal and went to India, Farhan had never met Atif in person until 2015/1016. Farhan didn't even know anything about the rift between Goher/Atif, He got to all this when Jal's and Atif's album had same songs. Farhan was dragged into their fight without having any part in it. This thing is even vouched by most of the bands from that time specially Call band who were mostly Farhan's seniors form his university, even Goher admits that Farhan was the innocent victim of his Atif rivilary.
Gohar is the real talent...! He is the success behind Atif.
