I really grew up listening to Mearle Haggard , but after I heard how him and his manager cleaned out Waylon in a poker game then left and never spoke to Waylon again really surprised me. And I mean around 7 thousand bucks. I loved Waylon too. I hate that happened and both of them passed on without ever making things right. I wish Mearle would have spent more time to get to know his other son Scott also.

There has to be more to the Story. ??? I also wish Mr Merle would have taken up time with Scott. It wasn't Scott's fault who His Father Was. Mr Merle may not have wanted Bonnie to know He had a Child with another Woman & His Wife May have Stop Him from Having a Relationship with Scott because it would take away time & $$ from Her Two Kids.
