Appreciate you for watching 🙏 The best way to start is to just take the first step. You might not get it right the first couple times, but eventually you’ll figure out something that works. Experiment with different designs, layouts and arrangements. Make a few samples and wear it out and see if you get any feedback from it. Just remember to have fun with it and trust the process. Much love 🙌
The made homeroom seems like the perfect choice since it's not as basic as the 1301 and is still in the same price/quality/fit. LA apparel seems like the actual perfect option but is hard to get away a good price without reseller/wholesale license
The Gildan G5000 was great when i first wear it, i washed it and it shrunk, i broke my heart because i had finally found the right fit but after the first wash it felt much more smaller
Overall, I’d give it a solid 7. It’s a good shirt. Love the fit, decent price point. Just wish the tags weren’t sewn in. The fabric also feels a little rough on the skin when you first wear it, but it softens over time.
Appreciate the feedback. I’ll see if I can make a vid like that. I usually make vids based on what I know or have experience with, but we’ll see. Thanks for watching !!
Thank your for the awesome video, I’ve learned so much. When your trying to start a t shirt business there’s not a lot of information out there. I feel like you know your stuff and I can trust you. One thing I have to say is that I’ve ordered the shakawear and I wasn’t very pleased with the material. If felt cheap and it was stiff and not very soft, I will agree the fit is great though.
Yooo I appreciate you for watching. I started my merch making journey a few years back and had no idea what I was doing at the time and couldn’t find any good info about what I was looking for, so I decided to try many different brands and document them. I’m still learning tbh, everything I know now has been the result of trial and error and seeing what works for me. There’s no such thing as a one size fits all, so it really depends on what you’re looking for. As for Shaka Wear, I felt the same about them being stiff at first, but it may take a few washes before they break in. If you’re looking for something softer, you should look into the Comfort Colors 1717. They feel pretty nice and has a decent fit as well. Much love bro.

Yup. Rue Porter is the best imo, but the downside is that they lack in the shipping department. I've definitely seen myself use Shakawear more because of that.
Great video! But Im wondering is there another teir for these shirts? Im looking for the quality used by Essentials. Are are those independent manufacturers? Thanks
There are definitely many levels as far as quality for tshirts. I believe the tees that are used by Essentials are custom cut and sew, so you'll need to find a manufacturer that can do it.
The shaka wear Max heavyweight is different from the garment dye version. The regular max heavyweight is long and slim so it's more of a tall T than an oversized, which was really disappointing. Might return all of mine since the garment dye variant costs twice as much from jiffy shirts
@@jiggywithj is the $6 wholesale you mentioned directly from them with a license? Unfortunately they're like $11 on jiffy shirts while the normal Max heavyweights are only $5 but they're just so long. 3" shorter and they would absolutely dominate
@sh0rtaznant I haven't checked on Shaka Wear's pricing recently, but they might have raised their prices on the blanks. I think they're at $6.50-6.75 per blank. You'll need a reseller's permit to get that pricing. An alternative to Jiffy Shirts is SUPERLINE Wholesale ($10 for the Shaka Wear Garment Dye Max Heavyweight Tee) if you wanted to purchase blanks without a reseller's permit superlinewholesale.com/products/shakaweargarmentdyeshirts

I think American apparel is the best shirts for a clothing brand. at the moment I'm looking for oversized type of style, my company is called Lost united clothing.
Alstyle 1301 is a classic, but unfortunately discontinued. The OG makers of that blank are now Teestyled TS6000. Jiffy Shirts is def a good place to start. You should try Shaka Wear or Los Angeles Apparel for more of that oversized look 🙌

Define 'best place'. You can literally get them anywhere online, at your local t-shirt store, print shop, etc. I also included web links to places you can get them at the end of this video - if you made it that far.
Yoo. All tees will last as long as you take good care of it. Unfortunately, there's not such thing as fabric that doesn't fade, but that would be dope. If you want something that's soft, I'd go with the G5000 ($), American Apparel 1301 ($$), Comfort Colors 1717 ($$$) - All great options.
i would try and call up your local tshirt wholesale store and see if they carry them. its a popular tshirt blank, so they might have them. cheers 🥂
Amercian 1301 is it really that one? Beacuse i seen other people using it but look tight asf and they using L size aswell so you rather have skinny arms asf or what
If you have a slimmer build, it will look more oversized compared to someone that has a bigger build. If you’re someone that has a bigger build, I would recommend going 1 size up for more of an oversized fit 👍
Bella Canvas is cool, but I think that the fabric is too lightweight for what I’m looking for. I like tees that are more heavy in weight (personal preference).

@@jiggywithj Yea i saw but its the same tee right?
Same tee. Just under a different brand. Gildan bought out Alstyle and put it under American Apparel.
@@jiggywithj appreciated. searching days now to be able to buy it in The Netherlands but not able to..have a good one!
i would try and call up your local tshirt wholesale store and see if they carry them. its a popular tshirt blank, so they might have them. cheers 🥂
Great video thanks

Hoodie vid coming soon 👀
Good video my man
Thanks for the support 🙌
@@jiggywithj what do you use for backdrop?
Amercian 1301 is it really that one? Beacuse i seen other people using it but look tight asf and they using L size aswell so you rather have skinny arms asf or what
Yoo .. I don’t quite understand your question.
@jiggywithj like the t shirt look so oversized on you but I seem other people using same size and the t shirt dosent look oversized so idk
If you have a slimmer build, it will look more oversized compared to someone that has a bigger build. If you’re someone that has a bigger build, I would recommend going 1 size up for more of an oversized fit 👍
Great video
Much love 🙌
Nice, but I'm just trying to understand how Pro Club or Pro 5 didn't make the cut...🤔
Cause they’re very similar to Shaka Wear
Best man

Why no Bella Canvas?
Bella Canvas is cool, but I think that the fabric is too lightweight for what I’m looking for. I like tees that are more heavy in weight (personal preference).
@@jiggywithj makes sense. I like the lightweight feel so I love them. I was interested in Alstye but I don’t like how small & thick the collar looks.
@@GetOffMyy you can check out the Alstyle here: ruclips.net/video/6yjlPGlndks/видео.html . American Apparel 1301 (formerly Alstyle).

Do you have the best sweatshirts ?
I have a hoodie video, but no sweatshirts :(..
I’ve been hearing Rue porter takes 3 months to ship sadly
I haven’t ordered from them in awhile, so I can’t say. But I remember shipping taking awhile. Less than 3 months though, depending where you are.
No one is talking about how rue porter changed the quality?
Did they? I know they released the 2.0 tees this year, but haven't gotten my hands on them yet.
