Plot twist: Eliza saw that, closed Mel's eyes, and was plotting to divorce Ken after the end of the tournament... and he would be known as "Hobo-Ken" from then on.
This song is a really good kind of representation of city life. People buzzing around and moving quickly on the subway, running across the street to make the crossing sign, the crowded buildings, etc. I think you all understand.
@@INeedHerPomPomJuice I'm not trying to attack you or anything. I'm just proving a point saying that it's pointless to try and comment an opinion that won't really affect anything.
***** You do realize that that was an early justin and that parrying that is essential since Chun is a common high-tier character. But I figured an ignoramus like you who simply spouts references would give such a half-assed reply.
***** eh whatever. It was still a hype moment and I was greedy for likes on the comment ok? Lol you can go back to your daily routines now, instead of picking on random people just trying to have a little fun.
This is such a great representation of the feel of New York, the constant flow, the metropolitan noise, the physical assaults in the middle of the day while apathetic urbanites just watch, etc.
When I went to visit my family in New York, visited the 9/11 Memorial and even spent time in Time Square, the whole time I was listening to this on my phone
These extended songs came to be with the help audacity, which I use for all my videos to loop the songs. Third Strike I believe has two soundtracks, the original version (Arcade) and the Arranged Version (Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, XBLA, PSN). The Arranged version is what you're hearing now, along with all my third strike videos. The Arranged versions are the re-made songs from the original, but a lot better in my opinion. You can find it online.
You know you designed some damn good initially one-shot characters when people beg for them to return in later installments despite having never seen them before.
The lack of Third Strike and Alpha songs in Smash upsets me. Like, don't get me wrong, I love the SF2 soundtrack as much as the next guy, but come on! I really wanted to hear songs like Jazzy NYC or Sakura's Alpha 2 theme while I'm wafting on people with Wario!
Capcom doesnt give SF3 enough credit. To them it is the antithesis of their direction for the series. Making everything easier for the player instead of just making a good game. That was the most fun and technically demanding game in the series and Capcom never got better from there
@@stormcutter59 Personally I actually found 3S to be one of the easier SF titles to get into for having a much larger focus on neutral than combos. SF5 needed some background knowledge and WAY moreso for USF4. Don't get me wrong, though; I mean this as a point of praise. This game is relatively easy to learn, the cast is great, and parrying means a surprisingly high skill ceiling. The most technically demanding game for me goes to USF4 but in terms of fun? This is up there.
Demond Scott Awww man, how awesome would of it been to have alex in ultra!!! And there was that one rumor that he was gonna be in there, but ended up being fake.
Jazzy NYC é uma batida show, harmoniosa e concerteza o que traz de mais charmoso na saga SFIII. Trouxe o universo do jogo para o nosso dia-dia. Tem de estar presente em SFV!

Yeah, that's cool!

I most certainly do understand.

3rd Strike cemented itself as the blackest and best fighting game out there by featuring both hip hop and jazz in its ost
Rare footage of Daigo actually angry...
***** nah man. That moment is too legendary though. A noob like you could never do such a thing like that.

Chaoskampf Tbh your opinion means nothing to me.
Chaoskampf What?
OLD DAYS = GOOD FELLING
"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE" ... Yeah, Justin sure couldn't
DAIGO PARRY
I listened to this while making dinner one night. It was fucking epic...
This might be the perfect beat. The drums and bassline have so much chemistry
Really loved a lot of the tracks, and sounds in Third Strike.
This theme brings back old times when i was in new york. When i hear this music it brings the pass back to my mind.
The Order okay
it takes me back to Soundview in the Bronx, where I grew up
The Xylophone at 5:10 is what makes this song great for a ost my opinion this is the best soundtrack that was ever produced for a streetfighter game
It’s actually a vibraphone lol
This is such a great representation of the feel of New York, the constant flow, the metropolitan noise, the physical assaults in the middle of the day while apathetic urbanites just watch, etc.
Lol huh....
don't forget the 1 or 2 crazy people in the streets screaming random stuff
@@pottedplant37_ that’s the part no one tells Japanese people when they say things like “I’ve always wanted to visit New York City”

If I ever go to New York, I would too.
I played this my second time going to NYC omw to the Knicks game when they was winning a years ago 😂😂😂😂😂
I live here in NYC and listen to it everyday 😂
@@reclaimer8947 I hate you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 just playing but I am jealous
Weird song to listen to at a memorial but I won’t knock it
Chun-Li in the background kicking while this song is playing.
Oh no.
1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. HIT IT!
(cue more saxophone drum 'n bass)
"into the heat of battle. GO FOR IT!"
free foam jazz!! no? i'll see myself out.
2:43 to 3:02 = Mind Blown. The way those drums sound, then they have the scratch at the end, wow.
"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!!!" ...POWER BOMB!

Mother3pla3r its on 20xx
Maybe for smash 5 if Ryu makes a return
(Guess what me from 2 years ago)
There is currently 36 tracks of street fighter in smash ultimate. 6 more than smash 4. Hopefully one of them is this version of Alex/Ken’s theme.
Think it might happen now?
@@MaxMax-qg7gw I don’t see how not every character won’t return since Nintendo seems to want to get as many characters as they can

If only this was in Smash over the overabundance of SF2 mixes.
I agree!!

I feel that this theme would fit in New Donk City stage in Smash Ultimate!!!
2020.
Still one of the best themes in 3rd Strike.
besides the whole others ye 😅
The arcade version of Jazzy NYC '99 is the greatest song ever composed in the world's past, present and future.
I'm taking a class on the Saxophone because of this track
"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!!!" I really wanted alex in SSF4 and USSF4
Though I'm not a huge Alex fan, I think he should have been included.
Yeah it would've been nice to see him in ssf4 in that animation style alex vs zangief, would've been nice!
Demond Scott Awww man, how awesome would of it been to have alex in ultra!!! And there was that one rumor that he was gonna be in there, but ended up being fake.
Yeah that would've been great.but as usual alex gets the shaft...he was last seen in tatsunoko vs capcom.

All I hear is angry Alex ripping off his shirt
Jesus christ the full is so much better than the in game version and thats saying ALOT considering how good that is
Moment 31. There...now go watch it for the millionth time. That was Street Fighter’s peak.

who knew about this before the daigo fame???
Me
Me too.
anniversary collection yeah
Played the game ‘01 in college and bought a Dreamcast with 3S in ‘03.
This theme doesn't feel right unless you listen to all 3 round themes.
This theme also feels right when lifting boxes at work.
Came here after hearing Alex's new theme for SF5...
+Swallow_Skyla that sucks
+Swallow_Skyla Its not bad but its no fucking 3rd strike theme
+Swallow_Skyla It's very hard to top this, but SFV's version is just muy bueno.

True fighting music. SO HYPE!!

I wish the OST had the 3rd round tracks as well.
Ok, if the next smash DLC isn’t chun li I’m storming Nintendo head quarters
I’m not complaining, we got Kazuya
