Every episode in this series are of great interests & are with amazing skills workmanship. Well done Pakistani folks......you guys are just great......!
Very nice work they have done, I like how the new radiator core comes as “one size fits all” and trim to suit, I would have thought the main person doing the repair might have owned a hack saw to actually hold the blade more effectively. I did laugh out that the video was sped up near enough to a similar speed of Benny Hill show when pretending that he was doing something quick (I apologise to the channel owners and the gentleman that was being filmed, this wasn’t thinking he was funny, just the similar speed to the other show I mentioned). I’m old enough that I used to take my radiator down for repair many a time, and then I’d have to get the correct core if I wanted it recorded instead of buying a new one (even though I was doing the same difference in the end product. Happy days indeed…
In the US we just pay the Chinese to build us radiators in every shape and size. But to build one from a kit and get the lead solder right on the first go is nothing short of amazing. We could all learn something from these guys.
That wasn't "fixing" or "rebuilding", it was building a new, custom radiator. Too bad he didn't use the table to work standing up vs all the bending over on the ground. Excellent end result, minus the crushed fins and no inlet or fill pipes.
Squatting is good for your back, that’s why they do it. Us in the west get bad backs from chairs and not using our legs and hips the way these people do.
That's how radiator shops did it for many years until the radiator "tanks" on either end started being made out of plastic. Then pretty much all the radiator shops went out of business.
I remember you would take a rad to be rodded out, welded, or other kinds of repairs. Back when they were made of brass instead of aluminum. I wonder if that guy was using bronze or lead as solder.
@@Billhatestheinternet Odd fact, after a lifetime as a mechanic, I found out just recently that copper is a much better thermal conductor than aluminum. Duh! No wonder the old radiators were copper with brass tanks. I actually kind of felt stupid.
If you give the manufacturer the header dimensions you won’t have to do anything but solder the tank on and pressure test by the way...they will put the drop seam or box seam on the headers for you too.
These basic skills are lost in the US. Everyone is used to buying new parts and not having to make or repair broken parts. I am proud of my skills and love learning new ones. I'd have to have a work bench. Couldn't imagine doing everything on the ground.
Title is a bit misleading, he actually built a complete new radiator using the old one only for the size. I guess there was a non-repable issue with the original as the place obviously does repair too. Still great skills though and I reckon the one he made is better that the original (more robust copper finning between the tubes) . My first few cars had this style of radiator and I remember getting at least one re-cored but modern cars mostly have plastic ended and ally cored radiators so much less possibility of repair which I find sad.
They still run old UK trucks from 70' & 80's. This is the only way to keep them on the road. Engines gearboxes anything mechanical keeps getting rebuilt.
Cultural Idiosyncrasies...we like the vast expanse of the earth, rather than the limited 'hold' space of the table...it could damage the toes if it falls or tips over from the table...right?

All this whilst sitting on an old car seat … wow is there anything these guys don’t make or repair making it like new 😀👍😁👌🇬🇧
There are videos showing others from the region making guns with the same primitive hand tools.
My salutes and greeting to the gentleman, incredible work.
That was really fun to watch. I've repaired a few but never built one from scratch.
Greetings from Florida!!!
Amazing work, Nice job!!!
Great experience and dexterity. Difficult conditions, but great precision in the conversion of the cooler 👌.

Amazing work 🇸🇻 peace✌🏻
After some dozen videos of these, apart from their top craftmanship and skills, they always have slick haircuts, beards, great teeth and skin.
INTELLIGENT MAN GOOD WORK. IT'S OLD STYLE REDIATOR BUT LONGER LIFE..TODAY THEY MAKE FROM PLASTIC.
Woo hoo, One size fits all :D

It hurts my eyes to watch a torch. I dont know how they do that without glasses
👏👏👍👍👋
Thanks for watching 😊

Muito top parabéns
Should you guys have to wear white even if in a workshop?
OH MAN! Where do I get tin snips like that?!?!?

But not there
Next investment! "workbench"
Why do they do all the work on the ground?

the fins can get damage when he hammered the radiator while putting it against big metal C block around 9:14.
Yeah, those things bend just by touching them
Pakistani's works always just like that....
And where does the waste of non-ferrous metals go? And why isn't brazing? Thanks!
They're really doing a great job I'm sure their customers would be really satisfied with their service
They hv to be happy with it because thiers nowhere else to take it🤷♂️😁

Swinging that oxy torch like nobody's business. My hands would be burned and cut up!
I want a set of those tin snips
a floppy tool is a friend to no-one
Brilliant, is that a translation of a Confucius saying ? Would work equally well with limp, flacid, drooping or dangling.

They inadvertently give wrong descriptions as these channel owners are not native English speakers.

Why they do everything on the floor? Isn't easiest on the table🤔
You'd think they'd build a workbench.
That would be considered modern day furniture lol I mean these guys eat off the ground just squatting down like that...🤷♂️😁

👍👍👍
i wonder if mishimoto they do the same .
Only reason why you would do this because the individual components are easier to get then a complete radiator
In America when radiator breaks, we throw truck in trash and buy new truck...
This is 100% hand made. The Rolls Royce guy cannot do this now.

remember that when you get the idea to invade!!

they take good radiator then bend cells by using hammer at bench ... score 3 of 5 ...
Tiene soplete y suelda con martillo deja
The company made radiator is very high cost. This way is half or less price and work
If he has to order a core why doesnt he get it the proper size?
Pb is fun.
it's Zink
