I love these so much! I've made a bunch to sell at my craft shows, and people love them. I used left over Christmas card pictures from old Christmas cards to make them look more holidayish. Lots of snowmen and manger scenes, some trees, and vintage Christmas images. They turned out beautifully.
Met a lady at a Dollar Tree in KY today. She told me about this craft and showed me the calendars she'd chosen. Glad she told me about your channel. Wish I knew her name!
Absolutely love everything about these. I started making heart ones with simple glue and glitter, but just love the looks of the gloss and glitter glass. What I especially love is the size. The vast vast vast majority of Christmas ornaments are proportionally way too big to be aesthetically pleasing. They pull down branches and look odd. For my taste, these are perfect. Thanks for a great tutorial!
I am currently working on this project. I'm a jewelry designer and have not done anything like this but when I saw the video several months ago, I started buying the supplies a bit at a time. I'm looking forward to seeing my finished product. Thank you so much for sharing this delightful project!
These are beautiful and elegant. I think they would also be cute as a dangle on a mini album and maybe even on the front of a traveler's notebook. Thank you so much for sharing :)
Alternatives to glitter paper: holographic cardstock or cardstock w/ aluminum foil tape (or dbl. stick tape your kitchen foil). After punching out, use an embossing folder for texture.
I love making these earrings. I watched your original video and now this one . Thank you so much for making and sharing this design. You are so easy to follow which makes it so enjoyable.
Love these punch outs they would look good in resin too which I do. Plus faux suede cord would look good rather than ribbon I feel but enjoyed that thank you 😊
You have the most interesting ideas I have found! You explain everything so well and your voice is very calming! I'm going to order glitter Glass soon and try some ornaments. I like that you also use real time and you take your time. Your supply info. Is so handy. Thanks for just being you!
If you have some really pretty pics on your calendar you could photocopy them for more pics. Just use a spray sealer on the paper so the ink won’t run.
You are a joy to watch. I hooked my laptop onto my tv screen, and it was like sitting in your lounge and watching you. Thank you so much for your time and lovely voice.
I absolutely love these and may make some with photos printed on paper for gifts. They are beautiful! Thanks for the great demonstration on how to make them. 😊
I've been following your videos and picking one to do each weekend for a couple months now. This is my choice for this coming weekend. I had a collection of saved calendars and never thought to use the small images on the back. Brilliant! Like anyone who does beading I've ended up with a ton of extra charms & beads. My plan is to use these as Xmas gift decorations.. the kind that keep giving year after year on the tree. I get my charms on Ebay and amazon prime. They're as addictive to collect as beads are. Thanks for the videos! You make my weekends.
I really loved this video. I am so glad that you reposted. My very first time using triple thick and glitter glass. I had a time with e6000 getting on the back of my ornaments. Thank you for telling me what to do to fix my problem. Thank you my friend.
I think your work is beautiful I'm gonna try n make these n give them to my mom for her sewing friends cause my mom is in a sewing organization and they meet every Tuesday and Thursday and is what they do is make stuff for the veterans and foster kids and for the troops that are serving our country, me myself I luv to help I donate a lot of stuff and my time when I'm up at my moms and we all have a nice time, so I want to thank you for some of your ideas and I think the lady's would luv them.
