Sure, I don't know what the official docs claim. But I can assure you that it goes upto 32GB (though it isn't useful). So 20GB with 16+4 is just the right spot.
I have not faced the issue. Can you check if the bios is updated to its latest version, and if it shows up in bios ? If it does you need to format it with a special tool. Else replace the drive as it might be faulty.
You can clone the entire HDD (including Windows Installation) to your SSD with Macrium Reflect, or any other cloning software. After successful boot up from the SSD, don't forget to clear the HDD Windows partition. ✨
Are you sure it is a SATA cable error and not a faulty hard disk? Try using a different hard disk and check in BIOS if it gets detected. Alternatively SATA connector could be replaced from your nearby Acer store. Replacing the connector on your own can be risky.
So u have tutorial on after u put ur ssd and next how to install in to ur windows? I really want it to make my ssd to main drive so my pc would get much faster
Hi, one question, if i use aida64, or similar, Where do I find and what is the specific feature that indicates if the notebook has an m.2 port and if it takes advantage of all the speed of nvme? Thanks!
Sure, use EaseUs or Macrium Reflect to clone. Use an external enclosure or just insert both the drives in the laptop at once and use either one of these softwares.
The license will remain as it is and the exact copy will be cloned to your ssd. Also, newer laptops (laptops manufactured after 2016) don't need to have product key for activation, it's there in the motherboard, so it gets activated automatically after a fresh windows install.
Manual activations are not needed in case of new Windows installation (windows will be automatically activated ). There might be a new video coming up for migration of backup.
