Sir my kid can be identified abcd 1234 color shape but he never communicate to us never respond in yes or no..just he is saying words which he learn from flash cards and from tv..I stopped his tv time..and regularly i talked him for a whole day with different activities like blocks puzzles but he didn't communicate. For example i ask what is this he will say apple but if he eats apple and than I asked what are you eating he never respond ,again I
ask what it this he says apple.but he doesn't say thankyou bye bye mostly in a communication conversation he is not interacting..is it sign of autism..?

Prompting and fading will help him in learning the process of communicating. For ruling out autism; get him assessed/ evaluated by some expert on child development or good speech therapist.
