Thanks for the great video! I love how you just sewed right down the center of the velcro. What a time saver!

You Rock Jen! I shopped at 4 stores for a Spa Towel for my daughter & decided to just make one, I needed inspiration on how to do it and VOILA, there you were. THANKS so much for the great, easy instructions. Merry Christmas to you!

I'm gonna try and make this by hand as don't have a sewing machine, nor would I know how to use one if I did! I think this would be cool to take to the beach or pool on holiday! Thanks for the video! :)

Very well done and easy to understand. I have wanted a spa towel for years. Found one downtown this past weekend and it was $38.00, did not buy it, of course. Will make myself one just as you described so eloquently!

I am making these for my daughters golf team for seniors going off to college. one of the girls is heavier and I don't think a regular towel will fit. if I get bath sheet in stead will that be too big or can it be adjusted

+Karen Johnson I'm sure a bath sheet would work. Just adjust your dimensions for the velcro.

Did you use the zigzag stitch for everything?

Darlene Yates You can just just shorten it so it will fit from his hips to knees. You turn down the top edge anyway, so you can either finish by zigzagging the edge or use a serger. You can also turn down the raw edge about ¼" but that would create a fair amount of bulk, so I'd advise either of the other methods.
