She has an emo influence, but she also has many other stuff that influenced her that are the opposite of emo, like Pop Punk. All of them expresses feelings. Emo is not just expressing feelings in a strong way or even sad way, there is this whole vibe and melody that comes in support of it to give the feeling that you're listening to an emo song or at least a song with Emo influences. Some people call Paramore Emo sometimes and it's again reducing them into one single thing, when in fact they have lots of influences in their music. Years ago I searched bands that influenced them and found bands I had never heard of(that I fell in love with too instantaneously) and I remember there were emo bands, but also very alternative style bands that have a lot of "Paramore" vibe and atmosphere in the songs themselves or moments of them.
