@timrozitis961 I was so fortunate to achieve this result in view of the fact that I was essentially recording blind: no rehearsal, so no chance to work out placement or check levels. I think what saved me is that having done an average of more than one organ a week since the beginning of last year I now have an instinct as to what is likely to work - in the same way that the organists who have played regularly for us have developed experience as to how to go about registration and what oddities they might find on organs. It was really great to capture the singing at St Faith's: so encouraging.
