Casual fans crying cause it's not a high scoring series. Learn to like defense, that's just as important and at times more important than offense.
Facts. Most of those fans that are crying just because it's not a high scoring series are under the age of 17.
Exactly and people who keep complaining about Brown and Tatum. Both guys have put more effort on defense in this finals series compare to their offense and it has worked out. Look at the highlight reel how both Tatum and Brown and absolutely playing lock down defense on Luka or Kyrie.

The problem with Mavs is that their game is built around Luka. If he has a great day, he can change the outcome of the game. But it's obvious, if you learn how to disrupt and block his game, the rest of the team is doomed. With Celtics, there are several players who can take the lead if one of the top players is underperforming. And that's why Mavs don't stand a chance.
Luka's turnovers were deadly fatal during close game.
Tatum has not made outstanding stats as WCF. But he has shown 2 way performance. He is leading team to the Win.

Nice to see defense getting appreciated. This series is a showcase of how important/impactful defense is. Preventing 2 points is as good as scoring 2 points. Yet everyone was saying oh kyrie's going to smoke d.white and jrue, best backcourt in nba history.

Still can't fathom how all those polls had the Mavs win this series by such a wide margin when this team is fulfilled with these great defensive players. Jrue, White, Tatum, Brown, Horford, KP. None of them are weak links at all from defensive standpoints. Perhaps only KP at the perimeter,, but they're too clever as well to cover up such scenarios. But the Mavs still got the chance if they happen to win game 3. They lose that,, and it's pretty much over.
People listen to media and popularity.

Dominant? Oh, please. Dallas has missed 15 free throws. Dallas is missing wide open three pointers. Dallas is shooting 25% from behind the arc. Field goal %? Boston leads Dallas 46.4 to 44.6. Boston had one really great quarter and that was the 1st in Game 1, but the game evened out. They had a 29 point lead and took a 21 point lead to half time. with 7 minutes to go in the 3rd the where up ONLY eight. They're leading in rebounds by a grand total of two.
You think you woiuld love to see this team vs the 2017 W's? KP was awesome for one half the other night. He might be hobbled, but even if he isn't, the only thing beating Dallas is Kyrie not hitting anything besides the occasional layup and they overall lack of three point shooting.
I'll leave you with this. With 3:34 to go in Game 2, it was 103-89. With 1 minute to go, PJ Washington had the ball in his hands trying to cut the lead to 103-100. Then he was pushed in the back and hit on the hand, but a foul wasnt called. The play has been discussed because it's controversial. You say dominant. Domination doesn't give up a 9-0 in crunch time, a run that should have possibly been 11-0.

Sad how the ranked 1 defense in the NBA this season couldn't do crap against the Mavs, and yet the Celtics are showing everyone how it's done.
They hit a wall. Missing assignments and late to rotations which is unusual for them. Weren't as disciplined with the same conditioning to sustain lockdown defense for 3 straight series like the Celtics are. Slomo and Ant both admitted that they hit a wall and need to train harder as if they will play through June.
But defense wasn't the problem, it was the offense. 4/5 games were very close, decided by 1 point and 3 points, it's not like they were curb stomped the whole series because that's revisionist history.
