probably is the same since VW used a lot of engines for both the mk5 and mk6

As far as I know it's mostly the same engine. Mk6 has improved chain tensioner and different tune on the ecu.
Hopefully you were able to fix your issue.

@@JoseVera-bq4xn @JoseVera-bq4xn that's correct. The chain kit should come with mk6 tensioner. At least it does in Germany.
