Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Today we had a front seat to this amazing freestyle performance Ski Mask the Slump God LA Leakers!! This is where Ski Mask really shook us by freestyling over Busta Rhymes classic track "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See"!! The cadence and bars from Ski definitely felt like a huge salute to Busta Rhymes and it felt amazing seeing this new MC pay homage to one of our legendary Hip Hop Artist!! Now we are super locked in and looking for more from Ski Mask!!

Busta is actually one if Ski's top influences. He used to freestyle all the time with x and then he passed, then he would freestyle all the time with Juice, then he passed, so, from what I know, he really don't do it that often these days. This was more of a promo for his last album sin city. This was the first time in a long time that he looked actually happy and more himself.

Just to put in context, Juice, X and Ski weren’t looked at as rappers like they’ve grown to be. Mumble rap was a rising genre that lumped them in with that genre. The streaming and youtube numbers will show you who has longevity in their artistry. If X and Juice were still here, they would be an undefeated trio.

i love that use are getting into ski, some good songs to check out it, catch me outside, burn the hoods, alien sex, faucet failure (was a freestyle) Dr. Suess, admit it, the matrix, ski isnt very deep with lyrics but he does alot of metaphores and bars that are fun

Man I miss the X & Ski combo when they were blowing up together. Shit was a just a certain vibe that I haven't had since 2017. Idk if it was because I was 16 & I'm 21 now or what, but when they first started to blow up when X was in jail it was just crazy... & then Juice WRLD came along too.
