My buddy showed me this and this new wave of metalcore with ethereal elements in it is so refreshing. Like each band I listen to gives me more insight how I want to write metal. It's like whatever was missing from yesteryears just gained purpose and woke up again. Damn.
Great band and people. Definitely worth seeing live. Good stage performance, play their instruments well, they keep time, and put on a good show. Definitely recommend
Everyone is saying that this is so “generic” and “cookie cutter” but everyone is forgetting the beauty in getting back to the basics. I mean like I NEEDED this. Anyone else feel me? 🤷🏻♀️
This came on Spotify while I was working. Fucking knew I'd love it as soon as it started. Was singing along the second time. What a find! Rock on guys!
Hopefully someday you guys come to Grand Rapids Michigan to play a show...ill be waiting for that after this song...this band is a new recent discovery for me. Good song for sure
Incredible. Yes, they followed a formula but they did it right. The lead guitars in this are beautiful and lyrically this song drives super hard. And you can’t deny how infectious those melodies are. This is a song that will get stuck in your head for days.
To all the haters that don't appreciate what all these new up and coming bands, you don't have to watch these videos if you don't like them but don't write a negative comment on here dissing a good band that's writing their own music and succeeding. I think these guys are great. They have a Unique sound. And the influence is what helps these new bands get signed by top producers. So I give 2 thumbs up to these guys👍👍
Gotta say, this is freakin amazing. Love the mix of types of vocals, awesome guitar melodies, atmospheric and emotional. Good shit!!!!! Keep it up guys \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/
For the few haters that are calling this generic list your favorite bands as a comment. I garuntee you those bands will have similar sounds as another. They are called influences. Some of the greatest bands of all time are "rip offs" of someone else. For example Pearl Jam used Jimi Hendrix as an enormous influence and it shows in most of their songs. There are a bunch of bands that sound similar to zeppelin. So stop with the word "generic". It's fucking toxic.
@@nuttyone5869 probably architects, silent planet and oceans ate alaska. ive listened to their two tracks Hades and choices but i also had the same problem. I think its a bit to simple theres no wow factor for me.but i am willing to listen to their other material cus i think they have potential.
@@RickySmart2001 okay all of those guys are great! So I'll start off by saying that architects if you listen to their earlier stuff they are clearly heavily influenced by dillinger escape plan and now have evolved into sounding like Northlane and a little Crystal Lake and a few others. I'll give you Silent Planet cause the way they weave in and out of literal poetic cadence and delivery. I can't think of anyone else. And then OAA is baby Veil of Maya. Which tons of bands try to emulate Veil of Maya. Which even then Veil of Maya wasn't 100% original as far as sound goes.
i’m not saying everything has to sound like new bring me the horizon! but this isn’t really keeping the wheel turning in a good way - for me. i see in the comments people enjoying it and that’s cool. my opinion won’t decide this bands sound or future in this scene in any way. good luck to you exitwounds!
What an incredible voice! He's doing everything right!
Sick man, just sick
How did I just find this? This is excellent.
Sharptone is really killing it with these kickass new bands!!

Agreed!! This is so refreshing to me.
It could be generic in a worse way. This is the exact genericism(not a word) that I want
@AnarchoDude they’ll get it when they’re older lol they’re dumb kids and didn’t grow up in the 2000’s so it makes sense
@AnarchoDude just your fucking profile picture says enough. Deftones for life. I feel this, purge them all.

🖤
was this song in a movie or videogame or something? I'm getting the most serious deja vu
i think in Indonesia the title will change to "Nyi Roro Kidul" hahaha
Rabbit hole brought me here. Not even mad.
This sounds like the same melody as Bring the Horizons Sleepwalking, just slowed down
That fucking chorus is so tasty
Dude sounds like Jamie formerly from Sylosis and Heart Of A Coward
The vocal is so good... Simplicity of the music and lyrics stuck in my head... Check my metalcore band IXIA
wow the pattern of this song is like bad omens
Ultinothing Channel You mean American BMTH? Yikes
Reminds me of Crystal Lake somehow.
Better than BMTH current entire album?
-Just an opinion
Got here when there were 666 likes. Not today Satan
😂
first comment
Pretty good but that chorus with that prominent of a lead guitar part with only 1 guitarist is depressing
#999
Maybe there's some linkin park vibes?
Considering that Medusa symbolice victim Hood and rape i fell like this misses the mark
Oh come on your leaking nicotine again.
Decent instrumentals but those lyrics. ha
mehh
😔
Like.. this band isnt band but i think they are kind of generic. Theres nothing in their sound that really sticks out
Check out their other material. They are pretty diverse in their sound. I think this song slaps.
As a follow up who are your favorite bands right now

i’m not trying to sound like a hater but it sounds cookie cutter for this genre.
Christian Trehey I respect your opinion, but at least it sounds crisp and pretty!
I would agree. There's really nothing interesting going on in this song
