Thank you! It is so much fun and I am always amazed at the ease my sewing machine sews through the rope. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!
When they apply decoupage to wood furniture they apply a layer of something on top of the entire surface to protect the outside. I wonder if this would be a good idea in this project? I was thinking of making a purse out of rope and using your idea of decoupage with pretty napkins on the outside. I haven’t seen it done before. Adding a final protective coat would make the purse or tote more durable. WhT are your thoughts? From across the Detroit River in Canada 🇨🇦
You are so welcome! I found mine at the Dollar General. I would think they all would carry the same stuff, hopefully. Good luck and thanks for watching!
It is so easy too! I bought the bunny napkins at Dollar General. My sister in law gave me the flower basket napkins. Thank you so much for your nice comment and for watching!
That is a really good question. I just felt like it would absorb easier with a little water included. But I am sure it would be fine without. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.
What a nice comment! Thank you! They are so addicting and so fun. You will never look at napkins the same. 😂Thank you for your comment and for watching.
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your talents and creativity, not only in this video, but so many others. You’re amazing. I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you.
What a nice comment!! Thank you for taking the time to write that. That really means a lot and helps keep me inspired to keep creating. Thank you for being an awesome subscriber! ❤️
I did spray water on it just to get it a little wet first. It is not necessary to do that it will work just fine without. I found those napkins at Dollar General. Thank you for the nice comment and for watching!
If it has a zigzag stitch it will work. You will have so much fun making these they are fun. Good luck and thank you for your comment and for watching!
I am using Clothesline rope. This sewing machine is amazing! I have had the more expensive machines but I am a firm believer in this machine! It will go through blue jean material like it is nothing and turn around and sew the perfect 1/4 inch for quilting. You can find a link to it in the description below in this video if you are interested. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!
You can always turn it down. Sometimes when I work on a bowl, I don’t always have a lot to say and it’s fun to just create it. But lately, I have been talking more. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!
Hermoso trabajo! Por favor que le echas antes de poner la servilleta. Agua? Y el pegamento es especial? O es el multiusos para manualidades.... Donde se consigue! Te bendiga desde🇨🇴 Colombia! ❤️

Hello! I’m not sure about that. You could always try it. That is what I usually do. Because you could always re-create it. Just my thought. I love the idea of a purse. That is very creative! Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching!

@@pattydixon6195 Thank you!
I like to use a water pen instead of scissors. Give a better end result
Why do you spray with water first before the decoupage?
That is a really good question. I just felt like it would absorb easier with a little water included. But I am sure it would be fine without. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.
So pretty!
Your bowls are amazing!

Beautiful work. Have a question, can these bowls be washed if they get dirty ?
Thank you! I wouldn’t wash it. I think that would have bad results.

What brand rope is that? Is it polyester or cotton?
I made that so long ago that I don’t remember. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Thanks for watching!
Do you have a link for the napkins?
I bought them at Dollar General. Hopefully you can still find them.
Are you using rope or what are you using. I have never been able to go that fast with rope. Let me know

Are you spraying water on basket before you add napkin or is it modge podge?
I did spray it, I wanted to see if that made a difference. I didn’t really see any difference. Thanks for watching!
@@sweetcountrylivinginmichigan thank you!
How do you.clean them?
That is a good question. I have not tried cleaning mine yet.
They have a dishwasher-safe Mod Podge you could use.
@@emilypopulis8678 I didn’t know that! Cool! 😁

Very pretty.I was going to subscribe but I find the music annoying..I’d rather hear you give verbal instructions.
I totally get that. Thanks for stopping by.
You can just watch and mute the video. I do that very often with creative videos that don’t need sound 😊
Me too. So i just turn the volume off or down same thing if there is excessive chattering.
