Why do you spray with water first before the decoupage?
That is a really good question. I just felt like it would absorb easier with a little water included. But I am sure it would be fine without. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.

I don't own a heavy duty Singer juz a portable type one.Can I use it for sewing e rope?🤷♀️

I did spray water on it just to get it a little wet first. It is not necessary to do that it will work just fine without. I found those napkins at Dollar General. Thank you for the nice comment and for watching!
What brand rope is that? Is it polyester or cotton?

I am using Clothesline rope. This sewing machine is amazing! I have had the more expensive machines but I am a firm believer in this machine! It will go through blue jean material like it is nothing and turn around and sew the perfect 1/4 inch for quilting. That is a good question. I have not tried cleaning mine yet.
They have a dishwasher-safe Mod Podge you could use.
