It does not help that her label at that time JYP totally cash in on her image and promoted it more. She later cut her contract with JYP and decided to lielow. For RM to ask her to sing this song about regrets and not looking back is very poignant and also, very Namjoon 💜
The song lyrics talk about someone who gets to legal age and tries to convince her long-time (and older) crush that she's an adult now and they can be together because she's not a girl anymore. She says she'll become a woman if they kiss her and gives consent for the other person to pursuit her now, and says she's still waiting for the other person to act. So the song in itself is more subtle. The choreography/outfits she wore were the problematic ones because they were suggestive for her age. Some imagery on the MV could be interpreted as you mention, as well. Personally, I think the worst about her case was that when controversy arised, her company pretty much abandoned her

I'm so glad he closed the album with this sweet, reassuring, hopeful track. Her voice is so warm. They sound amazing together, with his warm rasp under her clear soft tone. And the message - this is a good thing to have in mind as you step into your next chapter. Wildflower broke my heart, but this went a long way to heal it.

I have a habit of listening to the whole album first without looking at the lyrics except if there's a music video so Wild Flower is excempted but when I listened to this song for the 2nd time it became my fave without knowing the meaning. Indigo is a perfect album to end the year with.

Dont look back is the song vibe. you've done great job. you can pat yourself and said you are well now. no regret what you ever done but moving forward is the most important for you. Jiyoon si is more mature, adult and better person to say the words instead of him (Joonie explained in his magazine Indigo album content). the music is great (John Eun is great friends of RM, they both made this song).👍

It is a very different album but hoping and looking forward to you one day reacting to every other song from his masterpiece mixtape mono too - would really love to see this. As I have already mentioned it I love when Namjoon's voice blends with a female voice ❤️❤️❤️ that is why I've been waiting for minimoni (Jimin + namjoon) collab 🥺🥺🥺 And this songgggg is sooo beautifully done! So beautifully written & so beautifully sung! So beautifully arranged with these two. I am also a firm believer of "do not regret" philosophy. In India, there was a great great man "Swami Vivekananda". And he taught us this beautiful mantra "DO NOT REGRET THINGS FROM PAST, INSTEAD, LEARN FROM THE MISTAKES, AND NEVER REPEAT THEM" This has helped me improve & grow in life ❤️ Also wanna add real quick, this is the voice texture I really admire too...
