this album is truly a masterpiece and felt like a personal diary, all the artists he collabed with were perfect for the songs, the messages and emotions he was trying to convey and added a new flavor to the whole album. he did say he was aiming to make an album that he feels will have longevity and not just a one hit song, an album that even if you didn't feel it now you can come back to it years later and listen and relate to it, an album that stays with people for a long time and i believe he really achieved that with this album.. you can watch his magazine film even just on your own where he talks about the album and goes through the songs one by one, it also features the artists and producers he worked with talking about their experience with namjoon 💜 also my top5 are the same as yours except i have still live instead of closer (top5 with no order tho) 😆
I love your reactions. You often say what is in my heart but I don’t have the words to articulate the feelings that are there. This album is art and portrays who Namjoon is so beautifully. Sometimes sad, sometimes soft, often jarring. 💜
I love Tablo; amazing writer, funny, sensitive. Great role model for RM and Suga. I was most excited for their collab and it's PERFECT. Every track on this album was a surprise - they all have different flavours but still a consistent arc. They all feel completely true to Namjoon. Blown away by what he's done here. LOVE.
one of my favorite albums as well, INDIGO is combining so many different musical concepts and genres.. Lyrics, rap, vocal, collaborations, everything is so good! He's been working on it for 4 years and it's really worth it! Also, Namjoon said in his broadcast that he is now working on another album, but the date has not been set yet

I don't think I've ever heard a better song cycle than this album. His writing is constantly astonishing, and I'm left in awe of his talent with words. I also really love the way no song is the same style as any of the others. I love this album. (BTW, the reason he was slurry on "Change Pt. 2" is that he recorded it when he was drunk.)
Indigo is one of those albums which will be one of my favourites for a long time. I feel like the more I listen to it the more layers of love attaches to it, like its a childhood treasure - does that make sense? I love RM so much, he's my modern poet 💜
Indigo is really an art. I really love his music because it is full package. If you feeling down you listen to his songs and after that you feel okay again coz there are some of his lyrics that give you hope, inspiration and makes you happy. idk if anyone has told you or not but change pt 2 is actually recorded when he was drunk. actually this was the guide version but when he was recording the studio one, the needed feeling was not coming out that the guide has, so they decided to release the guide one😂
This might be one of the most perfect albums I’ve ever heard. In some ways it shouldn’t work because none of the songs should work together but like a carefully cultivated art exhibit it all flows together. From soft indie folk in Forgetful to almost NIN like emo experimental song like Change. It’s raw and real. Absolutely a masterpiece maybe because it’s so relatable. I didn’t see any song would be able to follow Wildflower but the ending was so so so perfect. Loved your reaction!
For me, 'Indigo' is an extraordinarily great album that doesn't have a bad song and they all fit together perfectly. And yes, all the songs are very different (because that was the intention be him to do so). Because each song is the various shades of Indigo and their colors and also the colors of Indigo are the artists featured on the album. Not only does it have Nam's colors but everyone else's. 💙

It was my favorite one on first listen T_T then, Forg_tful and Lonely, of course the title tracks, Closer, Yun, All Day, No 2, Hectic... My sons always say "put indigo, put indigo! #4 and #6 please!!!" so they also are music-intelligent it seems :D
