As someone who suffers from anxiety (but loves to travel), I absolutely love creators like yourself who take the time to film and edit such detailed videos. Seeing the layout of the ship and the amenities gives me a peace of mind I cannot begin to explain. And even if I didn't have anxiety, I think you've sold me on this ship. It looks amazing and I can already see myself hanging out in that library between excursions 💕
Great video showing the ships layout. Just booked this trip for 2025 on the soon to be built Hathor. It will be our 5th Viking river cruise and we have never been disappointed.
Thank you for an excellent video of this beautiful ship. We’re leaving shortly for this trip and we’ve really appreciated your posts. Is there anything specific that you wished you knew before you went? Tips about life onboard? We’ve been on the Grand European and an ocean cruise in Norway, but this is pretty unique. 😊Thanks so much!
Onboard, it almost feels exactly as if you're on any other river ship from Viking or the established lines. I thought they might have self serve laundry but no, so consider that. Also, no gym so I wish I had brought some exercise bands. But these are very specific to me. Lol. Bring a water bottle to fill as they have filling stations onboard. Have a great adventure!
Nicely done! Looks like a nice smaller (taller) version of the European Viking Longship. Looks very familiar - with just a little twist from their ocean ships
Thanks for the video. Really well done. What I liked was your smooth video panning at exactly the right speed. You did that so brilliantly that I now want to book this trip although I expect demand easily will exceed supply. Is it true that Viking has two-purpose built ships for the Nile: Osiris and Aton or did I get that wrong?
You bet! I had the help of a good gimbel. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, indeed Aton is a sister ship due next year. Plus, one more each in 2024 and 2025, Hathor and Sobek.
Oh. At first, I thought that cruises from Cairo had begun. But it's not. Flights are included in the 12-day itinerary, and the cruise is limited to the normal Nile cruise ship section. I'm glad that Viking has a new luxury ship on the Nile River. Thanks for the detailed and beautiful video.
Thanks for the tour. What a beautiful ship. We are booked for this cruise in May. Will you be posting videos on the different land tours that are included in the cruise?
Let me put these here for you. The links, as mentioned, are in the description box of this video Thanks for watching. Happy cruising. Problem is as one other Cruising UTuber stated on these Nile cruises which you didn’t mention is there are around 250 Nile Cruise ships cruising a 140 mile stretch of the Nile and all are mooring at the same sightseeing locations and at night there can be up to 50 ships at one location all moored 4/5 abreast & nose to tail with the engines running all night, that particular U Tuber had to sleep in the bathroom to try and get away from the noise of ships engines as there is no escape from it. Sorry but no matter how good the ship is that does not sound like a holiday to me.
Crazy. Thanks for watching. We saw no other shops on our voyage. Viking has its own docking facilities and infrastructure, so maybe that is a difference. Happy travels.
Serious question? How much was it? Was there any diversity on the ship? As a Latina, I just want to make there are other people on the boat that look like me. It helps when it comes to comfort ability
Thanks for watching. This trip starts at $5,300 per person. I sailed with mostly Americans, Brits and the Egyptian crew. It's an incredible experience.
I am guessing lateOctober would be a cooler time? How about the tours is it all walking? European river cruises tours are too much walking on uneven ground for me.
I’ve had feedback concerning other cruise lines that the fumes and noise from other boats engines when docked together can turn a great trip into a nightmare. Was this an issue at all?
On this voyage, we had no such issue. Viking has preferred docking spots in several places, so they might not be too affected by this. Thanks for watching. Happy travels!
I have tours of all the cabins in separate videos as I mentioned in this video. Links to those cabin tours are in the description box for this video here. Have a look. Thanks for watching. Happy travels.

There are numerous rooms shown in the videos linked in the description box for this video. It's an amazing ship. Best way to see Egypt. Thanks for watching.
Now my wife, who books all our cruises wants to go. Although I’m not sure we should go into this part of the world, I suppose there’s no point in resisting. I’m sure she’ll be booking this soon.
We just did November into December and the weather was perfect, warm and sunny without being too hot. Needed hats and sunglasses every day, evenings came early (about 6pm) but we're also warm enough to sit outside

Thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. This is a truly fantastic way to see this wonderful destination. Happy travels!
Viking ships are always so elegant and beautiful.
That's true. Understated elegance. Happy cruising.
I did not find this.
Great video showing the ships layout. Just booked this trip for 2025 on the soon to be built Hathor. It will be our 5th Viking river cruise and we have never been disappointed.
Thanks for watching. It's a brilliant program to experience Egypt.
Hi how we can book it ?
Egypt tell no ??
Or travel agent
Hope you will live that long, it's good you don't want QM2 because l think its 2026 october they have a slot.
I would have liked to see inside some of the cabins too.
Thanks for watching. Yes, I have a number of cabin tours. They are linked in the description box of the videos as noted.

oh that looks expensive, i'm Egyptian and never thought we had cruises like this on the Nile :D
It's a great way to see this incredible country. Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching. I will have a vlog summarizing the tours, too.
And yet you miss, for me, the most important part. What the bedrooms look like.
Let me put these here for you.
The links, as mentioned, are in the description box of this video

I'm looking for a cruise line that allows smoking. Is that possible?
There are smoking areas on most ships, yes.
@@InTheLoopTravel Is there a smoking dining room?
No
@@InTheLoopTravel So fat people and drunks are ok, not smokers. Ridiculous.
@@websterhays8352 I could understand for drunk people but what have fat people done to you

That’s not for Vikings they are the first DVD hace their own private dock
I wonder haw the Rail tours are?
@@saranyabiswas2057 Great point.
Going on the Hathor in September 2024. Just added the ballon ride to the adventure.
Have a fantastic adventure! Thanks for watching. We want to go back!
I love it

It’s unity in diversity it’s very nice

April or October much cooler but also more crowded. Yes, a lot of walking on uneven grounds around and in the temples. Thanks for watching
How many days the trip from Cairo to Aswan?
Five days.
How much did it cost?
I don't remember. They might list on the website. Thanks for watching?
No cabins? You missed the cabins!
Thanks for watching. I have several cabin tours in videos linked in the description box. Check them out too. Happy travels.

The problem is that they charge about $1,000 per day per person.
I suppose that is the going rate for a luxury all included exotic small ship cruise in Egypt. Thanks for watching. Happy travels!
@@InTheLoopTravel There are much cheaper ships. Of course not as nice.

Any Mummy Tummy syptoms?
Not on this trip. When I went years ago, I had a bad day. Thanks for watching. Happy travels.
No food is featured. Also this does not seem like an authentic Egypt experience. We will pass.
Thanks for watching. Happy travels.
One day
Happy travels!

What a sad swimming pool!
You should see the pools on all the other Nile River ships. Thanks for watching. Happy travels.
Old people, drunks and fat people have ruined most of the Viking cruises I have been on

You can throw grapes at fat people
This will be ideal for queers and disabled people.
Yeah. Really anybody who wants to have a great trip in Egypt. Thanks for watching. Happy travels.
