Don't you DARE put yourself down. You do your best and that's all we, as your viewers, can ask. We always love your videos and for those who don't - ignore them, they're morons. You do well and that's enough. :)
This is awesome, I do suggest using different polishing pads when switching from one metal to another. Working steel into the surface of the brass can tarnish very fast. And rust on the surface
I'm loving seeing how you've improved your restoration of cutlery. You've improved your work with the cables by blending your brass brand with brass on the cables with the wood. It's getting better, and it's amazing to see it, I'm your fan since the first cables with brass and now those beautiful, bright and useful jobs, keep it up!

I really like this channel. I am just brand new and only watch a few videos but as much as I can see you give alot of your projects a very polished look. And I think from time to time you might want to switch that up. Give something's alittle bit more rustic look. While I havent seen enough video to know if u do for sure. I would love to see some of the projects and weapons that have alot of character to them, have alittle bit more of that character when it comes out on a finished project, this is just my opinion and if you dont take hold to it that's fine you do what you love. But I think it could really widen your talent for it and make you better in the long run. Keep on keeping on love your work all the same.
Absolutely stunning! It was fascinating to watch a beautiful blade emerge from all that rust and debris! You are a very talented artist and a fine craftsman!
Gorgeous! I’m happy you didn’t do a full metal handle. The wood with brass accents looks so much better. Open question: can you over heat-treat or normalize a metal piece? I’m want to learn forging & restoration, & I’m ignorant about that aspect. Any input would be appreciated.
Very nice work, you are clearly improving yourself, the handle is very beautiful with the combination of brass and wood, but my question is if you have tempered the blade? You showed us how you quenched it, but just that, be carefull because if you quench it completely instead of only the edge then you will need to temper it in order to avoid fragility.
watched half a dozen of these and never once do you see him temper the blade. so either he does it off camera and just never mentions it, or doesn't do it at all.
I recently made a wooden sword for my sister and she designed it herself and as she is young I thought the blade shape is a bit ... unique. So this actual blade looking so unique is pretty cool
They make them. Ever wonder why they all look similar. Same degree of light rust, same rotted wooden barrel handle and same ridiculous claims of origin. Apparently not.
I need this channel and odd tinkering in my life. That's it. Forget about the other channels. Oooo i wonder what it would be like if they did a video together? 🤔🤔🤔

@Random Hands, Hello. Thank-you for the very nice video. We are enjoying your video all the way from Fiji :) Some quick questions: 1.} What liquid are you using at 1:54? 2.} And then again at 2:18 - which liquid is that?
You're getting better in finishing but lemme tell you that you have to improve your skills in modeling the handles and really stopping us in so much brass if you can cast it properly..

i woke up to this at 3am last night and i appreciate it
If you dry out the sand and limit any rough handling of your molten brass then that will reduce the amount of porosity in your castings
Holy moly it is so worth the time of watching this. That knife is sharp and looks very good
