Phoenix rising actually uses a different restraint then the chinese B&M family inverts. Those look more like the vest restraints while these appear to be similar, if not the same as the ones found on Penguin Trek.
did not realize that- thats super cool!
Omg you are right.
Trains also swing slightly
this looks way cooler than i expected
This adds to the skyline so well!
Vekoma definitely has the family suspended coaster on lock. Dragonflier at Dollywood is top notch, especially with how intense it is for a family invert. But I feel like we see more clones of those layouts and less custom. I’m not sure if this is a custom layout but considering it’s the first of its kind in the states and how smooth B&Ms are, I look for this to be well received by GP and enthusiast. Especially if the intensity level matches the level of Vekomas Family Inverts.
That’s something I would like to see though, from all manufacturers. I get most family coasters are meant to be cookie cutter/copy and paste. But I would love to see more variety in these layouts.
The B&M track looks so nice.
Im surprised you guys weren't in Sandusky for TT2 Media Day.
This coaster looks to be really fun and great for the tweeners. For a "juvenile" coaster, it's profiling has some whip! Can't wait to experience it.
I love the fact that Seaworld is embracing more family coasters. My mom and sister can’t ride the “thrill” rides because of health issues, but these new family coasters are perfect for them.
That first drop is so cool looking.
Yeah, I really like that.
I swear BGT has a better lineup than great adventure
Considering great adventure has El toro, King da ka, and nitro great adventure has the better coaster
@@Goliath146 BGT has a lineup of family coasters, something great adventure doesn't have.
@@dinar1ess776 montu, iron gwazi, kumba, sheikra, tigris
@Lightning-rodenthusiast Great Adventure has more quantity than quality. BGT's top 5 is better than Great Adventure's top 10, imo, and when you add in Cobra's curse, Tigris, Scorpion, and now Phoenix Rising, there's no competition.
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od however one thing bgt lacks is a hotel 💀
Great adventure doesn’t
WOOOO NEW COASTER STUDIOS!
BGT: "Phoenix Rising is the most anticipated family coaster of 2024!"
Holiday World: *"Hold my gravy."*
Love the permanent ONE TRAIN OPS
Dispatches should be quick though
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od Meh, doesn't really matter. Take 30 seconds up the lift, 30 second ride. 1 minute dispatch times. That's 30 trains per hour... MAYBE 40. At 20 passengers per train instead of normal 32? You're only getting an avg of like 18 per train in reality with empty seats and what not. So.... 600-800 per hour MAX? Theoretical. That's not good.
Let's take any and every complaint of Gwazi's dispatchs and completely disregard and throw that out the window. Gwazi of Iron=the best dispatchs in all of Florida!
*TWO FUCKIN TRAINS
BGT: B&M, build us something funky and unique as a FAMILY thing with the absolute lowest cost. Our guests would be thrilled just to wait.
B&M:You sure, dude? A maintenance station with second train could be added for a highly discounted rate.
Your videos are so good recently great job!
Love the Fire & Ice Phoenix dig at Universal. Didn't have BGT as the "B&M invert capital of the world" on my bingo card, but when you've got it, you flaunt it.
Very excited for B&M finally getting a family invert in the US, too. It's long overdue and rounds out the FLORIDA!!! coaster lineup well
fun fact: that stomach dropping feeling you get from coasters are just your organs moving around! 😊
I love that feeling, it sucks i dont get it as much as i used too
I never thought about the amount of labor that goes into these rides before we can enjoy them. Constructing them in the Florida heat definitely can't be a walk in the park. I also find it amazing that it is going to apparently open between now and the end of the year. The construction crew is working fast!
It also helps that Busch Gardens already has a great variety of upper tier coasters, so a family/mid-level coaster is a nice addition to their collection.
Looks epic! I went there last Friday & the track was complete & I saw workers on the station!
One train!!! They gona find out real fast ..they gona have to order another one...the line goin to be bonkers...💯💯 And whyyy didn't they post the offride video..that's way better then the pov video 😁😁😁
They need at least 2 trains. The line for this ride is gonna be insane
I was just there today it’s gorgeous.
This looks so cool!!! Cant wait for fall!
Swing on the seats is really cool. It totally gives the edge in the industry B&M needs due to the explosion in kid coaster offerings and demand.
This coaster is just incredibly pretty.
"How are things lookin out there at BGT, Ollie?"
Ollie: "We puttin in the brains!"
"Thanks Ollie!" 😅
Seaworld Entertanment certainly Loves B%M lol
This is such a head scratching addition. Terrible capacity, and a B&M invert in a park that already has the BEST B&M invert. I really think this and Penguin Trek should have been switched. A family invert at Sea World with scenes and stuff would have been cool….and a sit down launch family coaster at Busch could also have gone out into the Serengeti.
Montu and this are completely different. Plus if this and Penguin Trek swapped that point could still be made because Kumba exists, for now at least.
Busch already has a sit down family launcher that just needs new restraints more than anything
We're in the age of the family coaster. Everyone's doing it and they wouldn't be if people with more stats and info on the industry than us weren't saying it was a good idea.
Having more than one inverted coaster isn't too unusual. Hell, Kings Island has 3.
Get over to Top Thrill 2 now, I need that reaction. J/K
0:40 that helix 😍
The video screens definitely remind me of Levitation at Sea World Australia
I find it odd that it's themed to a Phoenix, but they decided to make the track and supports blue instead of red, orange, and yellow to give that fire vibe. 🔵🔥
I am going to Florida on Tuesday and to Busch Gardens for the first time on Thursday, so excited! (I am twelve years old btw)
I think something very similar to Phoenix Rising would be a perfect fit at Sea World San Diego!
I'm also curious to see what the merch looks like
Wow single train so expect a 90sec cycle time. Looks like a nice coaster.
I was there just a week or two ago
really looks fun, but i think this will be a one and done for me. really hope the new rumored big bad wolf coaster turns out more fun.
Hell yeah lab bars
I’m 6’5 so I’m curious if they’d let me ride it considering that’s exactly 77 inches 😅 looks like a perfect fit for the park though! From what I’ve seen the slightly swinging seats are a great touch! Also this was a great analysis video. It’s always so cool to hear from those who have personally had hands-on experience with creating the coaster
Wondering why you guys wasn't at Cedar Point today for media day on Top Thrill Dragster 2?
Looks lovely. Now review Voltron.
we haven't ridden it yet, it just opened!
@CoasterStudios if you're planning your pilgrimage to europe - Sarah with R2H - will you stop off at thorpe park for hyperia?
Im curious on how the seats will move
I want an opening date
The station is gonna look like leviathan inside…. I hope ^.^
So the 5 point harness is theoretically able to invert. I wanna see this kind of a restraint on a normal invert
Looks a lot like the one going in Aztlan Park in Mexico City.
Just curious you guys going to Europa Park anytime soon to ride Voltron
Best park for B&M Fans 🤣
As an enthusiast are kids coasters what we want… no of course not 😢 but is it a good sign of the industry and economy of amusement/theme-parks. Yes of course. It’s cool to see companies like RMC and B&M make kids coasters. Just a cool experience either way. Woohoo no vest restraints! Let’s just pray B&M gets rid of vest restraints or massively overhauls them. I don’t enjoy rides with them because it come down so much on my thighs it’s very painful. Also kids coasters will bring a new generation of coaster enthusiasts who will continue the demand when we get old and cranky.
1 train, is it going to run like Dragon Flier?
I didn't know the seats will have swinging, that will be very different than the ones in China I think, plus the different restraints.
Phoenix Rising looks like a perfect fit for BGT.
Also, Falcon's Fury and the Sky Buckets were both up and running on the same day? Whattttt? I hope you bought a lotto ticket after you left the park
Craziest thing about this video is the fact that the sky ride was working lol
For how busy the park is, it's a really bizzare choice to only have 1 train on it. 20 riders is not a lot. 😕
Dispatches should be quick though
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od”should”
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od it should be quick dispatches with 2 trains though to eat up the queues personally.
I think a lot of thrill seekers will forego this one and not put too much crowding on it.
Dispatches around the park were painfully slow when I visited last year… we will see.
Some of the supports look weird lol
1 train ops? Ouch
When I hear 'suspended family coaster', I automatically think vakoma's model like the one at lagoon, fun spot orlando, and kings island, and those are terrible.
At least this one got lap bars, so that automatically makes it much more comfortable
The Vekoma ones really aren’t that bad
One train!? This coaster will be a throughput nightmare on busy days.
yeah, but this won't be the only one train coaster at the park- its actually BGT's 4th
That track is super short. Even with the chain lift, I doubt the entire thing lasts 75 seconds. A second train would probably slow it down because everyone would be waiting for the loading train to clear the station.
1 train ??? oh no
This seems massively overbuilt, you don't need that track gage on a kiddie coaster 😢
1 train?? Are you joking?
Why is a coaster called Phoenix rising be blue? Lol shouldnt it be red orange and yellow?
there are 4 different phoenix's during the ride experience, one of which is blue
One train is super lame
Wait.... wait.... only 1 train? What kind of BS is that? That means they'll get like... roughly 30 trains per hour... So... what, 600 riders max, theoretical, per hour? Guess I'll never get to ride this hahaha. No way I'm waiting more than 30-45 minutes for it. They always find some way or another to disappoint me. At least the... "theming" is better than I expected. I just don't get how you're only doing 1 train on ANY modern coaster. So they'll be like Vekoma Suspended coasters which have a little swing to them. I mean, not really. They just have some give to them with the shocks they use.
They COULD do two trains. Stupid, STUPID call on B&M for not emphasizing on this. Really a stupid call!
I agree, probably because it is so short and they don't have enough space for storage.
I really hate this ride. This park has plenty for kids. Having this ride does nothing for attendees choosing to come to this park. If they build a world class coaster id prob skip my 3rd day at unversal next year and go there. But as of now its every other year for bush
No they don't they only have air grover scorpion and maybe cheetah hunt and I doubt a 8 year old is gonna want to go on scorpion or cheetah hunt because of the inversion
This is replacing sand serpent.. why would they replace it with a huge coaster when sand serpent was a family attraction???
Lots of complaining about the 1 train but it'll still cycle more riders per hour than tigris
not only does it have 1 additional row but also one less restraint to check!
Yah but no one was defending Tigris it still has horrible capacity
