I’m loving all these new additions!! One thing I’d suggest is changing how jumping works, I feel like the jumps are too fast and it might be hard to control how high you want to jump, maybe you could make them jump ease out a bit more. Also I think Waluigi is a little too OP so what you could do is make him have a wonkey jump where it eases in instead

you could've given Waluigi an ability from the spin-offs like his ability to create purple vines from one of the Mario Strikers games (not the modern one) or how in some of the Mario & Sonic Olympic games he can swim through the air

Add an enemy called the “Boomba”, they are a red goomba with eyes blacked out with glowing yellow pupils that glow massively, they can explode upon contact with a fireball, they are normally put in underground levels

In Super Mario Run, Daisy has a double jump. I think that would be cool to add somehow too
Of course!! That wouldn't be too hard to implement :)
Idea:
Make a start screen when you start the game. which allows you to choose characters.
Along the levels, you will gain access to more characters, but you'll have to find the pieces of them.
For example:
Daisy will have to be a flower around the levels.
Same thing with peach. A peach.
Luigi would have his hat as the piece
Wario his hat aswell
Same thing with waluigi.

Dang this was sick! I'd love more level mechanics now like switch blocks and keys! Fun fact about luigi, his speedup and slowdown time is a bit slower than mario, making him drift about a bit more, I'd love to see each side character have a weakness like wario and luigi for more varied gameplay! Great work cosobean!

Ideas to inspire you:
Make a powerup where every time your chosen character does any action it plays their signature sound effect(aka "HI I'm daisy", "I'm the best", "Luigi Time", "WAH!", "So Peachy!" And "Its a me, a mario")
Make the princess you need to rescue actually be Bowser himself and the boss fights are all against the other villians who have turned on him(either from other franchise or from this franchise)
Make every character have a different exit animation(for example waluigi runs after a final smash into the castle or something)
Make a powerup that gives mario a gigantic jiggly butt like in the games
Draw a random amogus into one of the sprites
Make a mushroom that replaces every sound effect with the vine boom
Voiced by Icoso himself
Ideas:
1) give Luigi ice physics, like in the games, that way he isn't op
2) buff Mario, cause he really feels underwelming compared to the rest.
3) Wario gets his should bash from Wario land

Luigi still jumps higher because Waluigi is only tall because Watro put him on a stretching rack, but Waluigi can swim in the air

honestly, i could imagine the blue shell from new super mario bros on the ds fitting well in this game, it would be so damn funny if you implemented it
You should set a slipperiness value similar to the monty moles to Luigi, because to counteract his higher jumping abilities, the devs made his movement more slippery. Also, for sake of balance you might want to consider having Waluigi be limited to just teleportation or higher speed (unless you're planning to make him an OP secret / unlockable character!) Just some suggestions though, it IS your game and I'm excited to play it nontheless. I absolutely DIG your artstyle by the way. Have a great day! ^_^

You should make Luigi be more slippery, so it’s fair. Also most of them are from Mario maker 2. And I love this series!

also the ice mechanic can have bit more extra, like when the goomba's or any enemy turns into a block of ice, when the block hits other enemies, they can die, somewhat like the koopa shell. ik, ure welcome ;)
A couple of questions: 1. Does every character get every powerups. 2. How do you make the levels?
Suggestion: Time Limit, Death Animations, Sound FX, and Scoring

I think you should definitely rework the jumping, it's a bit too OP if you understand.
Also you should have the banzai bills and mega mushroom forms actually destroy the objects.
Also, the Icosorn(?) could work like the Hudson Soft bee item from the obscure Super Mario Bros. Special, where it does nothing and just grants you a bunch of points (the bee gives you 8000 points)
Speaking of which, an HUD would be helpful.
i feel like daisy should have a large cool down on the flower power because then that ruins the point for getting fire flowers or ice flowers, also i love your art style!

Poison shrooms are from Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels (Also known as Super Mario Bros 2 in Japan). The game wasn't released elsewhere because nintendo thought it was too difficult for america or smth i dont remember the story
