I didn't realize I was not a fan of DNA, Until I found myself only clicking on the video to listen to V's part to the last chorus. Then V's part became boring. That's when I realized that I didn't like the song lmao. That song stayed in 2020 for me :)

I personally like 1/2 the song a lot. However it keeps repeating itself that it gets boring and for some reason, in my own opinion, just became a song I didn’t like. I do like a few EXO songs and I did LOVE hearing the first 1/2 but not for me the next 1/2. However I do understand if people like it but not for me.

Well, that's your opinion (I assume). I don't hate the song, but the drop doesn't hook me in. I wouldn't say it's a bad song, but compared to previous singles, DNA lacks a tight drop to rely on. That's just my opinion on the song.

DNA is not a bad song but I don't like it either. I think in the end, its all about individual preference in music. For BTS, I have always like most of their B-side songs. As for other kpop songs, I couldn't say much because I don't really explore them because I'm hooked to BTS for now.

I am such a stickler for correcting people so I apologize in advance: Seb. DNA was on Love Yourself HER which was released end of 2017, and ANSWER was end of 2018. Serendipity, best of me, pied piper, dimple, mic drop, gogo, and outro her. DNA was technically on ANSWER but it was released a year earlier with some of the best bsides in their discography. sorry i have this weird thing and i just had to get it out lol

The "Na Na Na" and other sounds songwriters put in the music is fine as long as it's executed well. And I must say, "Love shot" is the only Exo song I like. And after listening to Kai's "Rover", I had to come back to listening to "Love Shot" coz I need to get my ears cleaned. I'm honestly surprised they didn't put more Blackpink's songs here coz they are exactly right about BP's music as guilty pleasure songs. I can dance to it, play it at a bar or smthn, but that's just it. Not remarkable. No substance. Like Lalisa, Pink Venom and Flowers. These are just songs that are WTF's for me.... As for DNA by Bts, honestly surprised they didn't put Idol here instead. That song is what prevented me from listening to Bts at the time. It was horrible until you read the lyrics and the story of their album. If I only listened to it without even reading the lyrics, then that would be an absolute no from me. I'm fine with it now tho. I consider it as a guilty pleasure songs. It's a vibe I can dance to but not to be put on my playlist.

DNA is a very well constructed and produced song, I actually really like it (as a casual occasional BTS listener). It's miles better than anything post Dynamite and I personally like it better than Dynamite.

i'm gonna be completely straight up here. bts had a streak of every comeback being better than the last since the release of i need u.
in my opinion, not today almost broke that streak for me (it felt like they wanted to recreate fire, which was impossible at the time, fire was THAT song), and also, it came out right after blood sweat and tears, bts were at their peak with bs&t.
but dna... i hated dna first listen. that song did ruin that streak for me. in my opinion, it felt disjointed ???? the instrumental for the chorus was annoying, the reverb on the vocals in the chorus was bad, and the choreo overall was pretty boring in comparison with other songs, and the whistle... i love bts as much as the next person but i need to be honest, if i were to rank every single bts song, dna would definitely be at the bottom.
