ATEEZ & especially SKZ r what I'd call "NOISE MUSIC DONE RIGHT" unlike most noise genre songs which sound messy af with a bunch of stuff randomly thrown here & there.
Ateez is "THAT" group imo. I can hardly point out anything they lack at...be it musical quality, dancing skills, vocal stability, stage presence, personality, etc. U name it they have it. Ateez r seriously so unique from their sound to their personality to their dancing & stage presence. They keep doing a different concept every comeback without losing their signature sound.
For the skz one, I didn't enjoy maxident era as much as their previous eras maybe because I became a stay during maniac era & I freaking loved maniac. But after following their discography, I don't think they need to switch any thing up cuz that's what they always do since debut.

Stray kids have been switching it up, yes it has their signature on it especially with music but it doesn’t sound the same. A lot of their title tracks are different and has the energy of SKZ but that doesn’t mean they are getting boring. Case 143 is different from Maniac Maniac is different from thunderous thunderous is different from back door and so on. They explore a lot of genres and will continue to switch it up even with new comebacks but I kind of disagree with TXT being the standard when it comes to charts they are breaking like it’s great that for over 2 million copies but that doesn’t mean that they are the standard for records breaking
Also for the TXT thing I’m not saying it’s a fact I just think a lot of us have different ideas and definitions when it comes to what the standard is for KPOP (and I’m not shitting on their progress either) I think when we say “this group is the standard” it’s because that group is our favorite and ofc we are gonna hold them high up then the rest the boys are great but it depends now on what you mean by standards and what kind of standards
For sentance 23(skz one) as a stay skz make amazing music and the dedication they put towards making songs is amazing!! Skz have covered nearly every genre and can cover more, stray kids have different genres and change it up in almost every album or single they realise!! I personally think skz can keep their currents songs as it is and work on similar songs in the future.

I disagree so much with “Ateez not being unique”. Ateez has such a distinguished and their very own sound. Like they have so many genres and they really experiment a lot with their music, but it really works. In my opinion Ateez has a sound in their music in which you can just know it’s their music. Like I can’t think of any group that has the same sound or a similar sound to Ateez. For example we have “hala hala”, “wonderland”, “pirate king”, “the real”, “halazia”, “deja vu”, “thanxx”, “answer” and many more and no other group sound like Ateez. They incorporate a lot of different instruments, for example in “the real” in the dance break and also some orchestra and opera like for example in “answer”. They show us so many different sides of them and nobody does it like them. they’re literally a great example of uniqueness.
I definitely don't agree with their Stray Kids opinion coz they literally have songs of so many genres.. Ppl should stop judging their whole discography with just their TTs also even their TTs dont have the same kinda music they just have that SKZ element. ..They will make whatever songs they want supporting it or not is the fan's choice.. Ppl might not like it and thats okay tbh.. they did change it up with their TTs with Case 143.. They can have their own opinions tho I aint gonna go attack ppl for that..

Literally, like the fact that skz switches up constantly and is always trying new things is one of the things that ppl don’t like about them, but now ppl r telling them to switch it up as if they haven’t been doing that since debut💀. Like obviously skz will always have a distinct sound, but it’s always done different in every song. I can’t think of any skz songs that sound the same as each other

My Kpop Opinions
1. There are idols in it for the money aspect of things because they see successful groups and more often than not once they are idols themselves will end up having scandals and be forced to leave the industry anyways.
2. Most fans who dislike a group or artist will do so based on the title track and not even listen to an album
3. Autotune is subjective. If you like it, that's fine, if you don't that's fine too. An artist doesn't become untalented for using it.
4. It's 2023 and I am so sick of how powerful rumours are and how easy it is to destroy an idols career based off of them.
5. It's okay to fall out of love with a group or artist's music, it isn't because they haven't changed but because you have grown tired of their signature sound
6. Keeping up with every idols variety show is tiring tbh same thing with Vlives
7. You can like a group without having to compare them with another artist and still like them
8. Thinking an artist or group is overrated does not make them a bad artist, they're just popular
9. Artists from smaller companies are unlikely to become popular and stày popular
10. The Big 3's most popular artists don't define the entirety of the music they make and the artists they have under their label
11. We won't stop having controversies on clothing, music videos and statements that are offensive to someone. Not only because they are valid, invalid or blown out of proportion but because in the company and artist's mind they will always be promoting to the Korean audience and this audience isn't too concerned with these ideals unless it's a way to drag the artist or offends them personally

Honestly, I think Antis of any group are more obsessed than the actual fandoms for the groups. Like why spend all that energy and money on something you absolutely don't like, and instead, be happy and support the things you actually do like/enjoy.
I think some of the stuff can be explained by the year. Saying Red Velvet probably won't be able to do anything new, SKZ being repetitive and Ateez being generic especially were all before their 2022 releases. Same with all of the opinions, those just stuck out to me because they were definitely disproving since the video released

i want to be in a co-ed group. like fr. im starting vocal and dance training next semester and im already learning Korean and im saving up money to move to Korea and live with my cousin over there. i seriously want to be in a kpop co-ed group. i just don't want to be the leader though bc thats a little too much for me. i wouldn't be a good leader so i wouldn't wanna put that kinda stress on anyone.

To be honest, SKZ has one of the unique genres. They do and experiment with their songs, they explore with their music! I disagree with #23 tsk tsk smh.
No I kinda see what they were saying on the ateez and skz opinions but I think it was worded poorly and not really explained. I think it's because ateez and skz are super popular in the west and companies are taking notes from them and trying to recreate their own versions of skz and ateez. no company was trying to create such strong dance/all rounder groups until ateez and skz debuted. no one (besides sm) was trying to create the unique music that ateez and skz do until they got more popular in the west. (ofc bts and their huge impact on the west bringing eyes to kpop lead to the uprising of ateez and skz. this comment is mostly about ateez and skz though but we can take time to thank bts) now that almost every company especially nugu companies are trying to appeal to the western market they take inspo from ateez and skz. so it makes it seem like ateez and skz aren't unique because the concept and sounds they made popular are being made for other artists. making it seem like everyone is doing it so ateez and skz aren't unique. I used to be a fan of both ateez and skz and I remember distinctly when ateez and skz got popular suddenly an influx of dance, performance, and rap heavy bgs with dark concepts started debuting. I remember when Wonderland by ateez dropped and the waves it made over the industry can still be seen today. for skz their most influential comeback is hard to pinpoint because it's kind of all of their comeback lmao but if I had to pick top two I'd pick god's menu and thunderous as they are the most recent and most recognizable examples.

I think this is true since Skz blew up internationally a lot and Ateez as well especially in the West. I think Atz, Skz Dreamcatcher were the proof nugu/small companies needed to try to appeal more than just the Korean market/not fully focus on the Korean market. I read in some comments that Ateez are the group that give hope to nugu groups of blowing up in the west because despite not coming from a medium or big company Ateez became the Best selling non big4(I'm talking about the biggest entertainment companies not the founders of Kpop) and in 2022 went on 2 world tours selling out major cities and even had to double the concert dates in those cities due to the demand. Atz are going to have their Asian part of their 2022 Break That Wall world tour also visiting major Asian cities for two days each. I still consider Ateez unique because me personally I haven't heard of a bg group have songs like Guerrilla, Halazia, Turbulence, inception, Wave, Wonderland and Deja Vu all under their belt and execute them like Atz did yet somehow you would be like "Yup this is an Ateez song"
We all know that when you watch a reaction video, the reactors who force themselves are very easy to spot.
They put an arrow in the thumbnail that's not pointing to anything or someone who didnt do much in the video, when they react to the song, they don't comment on the lyrics. They look bored the entire time and do other things while not listening to the songs. Their thumbnails are making faces that people who love the group didn't even make when they watched it.
Vocal coaches who don't comment on the production on the voice or the vocal technique. Dancers are more likely gonna talk about dance than the music and I think that's fine.
But overall, there are def people who don't actually give the song a chance or genuinely don't like it but instead of just saying it's not their type of song, they say "its 10/10 for me" and ask for suggestions to grab the views from that Fandom.
Veteran kpop reactors will def say it but newer ones don't wanna ruffle feathers and wanna keep Fandom clicking on their stuff
Considering skz has more the 40 different genres of music in their Discography, they have their own sound but all they do is experiment and switch it up all the time
No one is more arrogant than those that have "BTS only" in their twt bios, yes, I just said that. You can be proud of their achievements and you being part of them, but being proud shouldn't be a shield to belittle others, to call anyone else and their mothers a fl0p and feel satisfied that you just did that because you're protected by a screen, that's cyberbull***. I do support BTS, they are a great group, and I do accept that they are indeed very popular and famous (good for them), but, some of their most hardcore fans need to chill. SM SOLOS GIVING YOU REAL VOCALS AND IT DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT THE MONEY WE DON'T RECEIVE MONEY FROM THEM BUT GOOD MUSIC IT IS.
In my opinion, there are some groups where I think they do not fit the 'noise/experimental music' aesthetic, because it does not suit the group's image or the sound of the group and that deviates the group's concepts. As well as, there are groups that actually don't need to experiment, because experimental music can either go really good or really bad, depending on the listener. Another opinion, I think in order for people to understand ATEEZ and Stray Kids they will need to listen to their discography (besides the title track) and watch their LIVE performances. Both groups bring uniqueness in their own way and saying that they will need to switch it up or they are becoming like other boy groups is discrediting all that they have done so far. Especially considering Stray Kids has covered over 25 genres under just 5 years of being a group and introduced a new sound on top of that.

I think SuperM was unnecessary in the way that it forces fandoms who are normally part of a ''fan war'' to be together and hype up a group where they don't like half of the members. It was made as a group to take over America but didn't succeed in it and they should focus more on groups on their own instead of meshing them together because they have a change to get more popular but SM isn't doing their job. No SM groups got in the top 10 most streamed kpop acts in 2022 even though they are a big 3 company. Sm is doing unnecessary things that doesn't make sense, I also think almost every fandom would rather have their group to have a comeback instead of 1 member of your group have a comeback with people from groups you don't like/care about. Same thing with Got The Beat. They have members from Aespa a group that din't even debut 2 years ago and instead building them solid fandom they have 1 comeback a year later and some members performing with other members who have been in the industrie for 10 years. Not to be mean but the other members in Got The Beat are already over the hype and have their solid fanbase and won't gain many new fans, Aespa has to compete against 4th gen girl groups like NewJeans, Ive, Le Sserafim, (g)idle etc. They should focus more on their own.
