Crohn's Unfiltered: INSANE Preauthorization Fight for Remicade Infusion | Vlog |

Hey peeps! "What's the worst that can happen?" Is never a question you should ask during a gap in treatment due to preauthorization. Because this year the answer to that has been one of the most painful experiences of my life...and I've dealt with anal fistulas!
Preauthorization is something insurance companies do at the beginning of every year to determine whether or not a treatment plan, like Remicade (infliximab) infusions in my case, or medical procedure is medically necessary.
It is an awful time of year for any person struggling with chronic illness, but one we can get through together. Buckle up for one of my "story time" talks dripping with sarcasm and my dark humor. Trust...if I didn't laugh I would cry.
Crohn's disease is something that I carry everywhere and therefore I wear it like a favorite coat. Be prepared for an unfiltered, unvarnished look at my life as a queer, disabled badass. If you're a crohnie...this vlog is for you.
