Nicely done Hobao! This thing is sweet! While I don't know if there is a legit class for 1/10 4wd truggies, I'd sure have some fun with this thing! I'd take the roller, add HW 3s capable electronics, DS servo, ditch the chassis brace and have a blast!! Great video Razor!!
I am so glad you got one! I have been waiting for more people to get one and review it because I want a 1/10 scale truggy to race at a local backyard track. I researched the first version but I want durability in my vehicles. And sometimes people complain when I race my 1/8 truggy, buggy and 6s Mojave because they can damage other 1/10 vehicles in a crash! 😢😊 There just isn't many 1/10 race vehicles on the market that aren't expensive or are short course!
Are you getting the new Redcat 4s monster truck and or truggy? I ordered the MT during the livestream purely because i love my Vigilante and it looks like a mini Vig.
I'm on a dad budget and currently race 1/8 ebuggy and 4wd SCT. There's a new 10th scale indoor clay tack that's opened up nearby. I can run my SCT there, but prefer to run 2 classes.... Would this be a decent (roller version) option to get into? Also considering the PRSB401R- not too interested in the 2wd stuff. Looking for decent enough to race on a dad budget. Thx for all your great info!
Nice video, I can't wait until ours gets here, we plam to do some racing with one and see how it stacks up against the other rigs in the mini truggy class...
Huh they don’t even have the new updated one on Amazon yet hopefully they update that soon looks like a very solid truck but I don’t think our local Rc club would even run these which sucks.
Oh I'm super excited about this truck! I've been eyeing out the 1.0 for years what I was scared that it wasn't durable enough. But now that the 2.0 came out I'm probably going to get it I want to see how well it does on the track before I buy it though. I'm probably still going to regardless whether it be good on track or not but the track is my main focus. I only Bash occasionally.
The exact guy I wanna ask. Is it better? Are the upper arms clearly tougher and does it not need a top plate anymore with that brace? Also, I kind of hope some of my old upgraded parts and back supply that are still bagged will fit the 2.0 😂 I still love my gen 1.
Totally off topic question but.. Is there any reason for steering to be reversed from 1 run to the next. I bought a 2nd Infraction a couple months back for a project but mainly because they were on sale. I'd only driven it once. I got it out last weekend and when i powered it up the it took off on its own and i had to use the hand brake and crash it into my foot to stop it, which wasn't easy because the steering was reversed and i didn't realize it instantly. Turned out the throttle trim had been turned way up somehow but the steering reverse hadn't been switched. It was still on normal like the first run. I had to switch it. I've never had this happen and can't figure out how it could have happened. I was running a different set of batteries but I've ran both sets in other rigs and that's not happened before. It's not like you can plug them in backwards with Spektrum IC5 plugs. On topic i am surprised at the motor that came in this truck, size and looks wise it reminds me of one that comes in the small brushless Amazon cars.
I mean an actual sprayed on paint. Most are dipped or silk screened IIRC with stickers for windows, this one actually has masked off windows and is sprayed so the windows are clear.
i have a tlr 22 5.0 and screwed up a screw that hold the gear case. i cant remove it. the head is drilled out and it wont grab on anything. what can i do ?
It's unclear if you are talking about the transmission case or the differential itself. If it's the case and it's a button head or socket head, dremel cut a slot for a flat head screw driver. Try backing it out with the screw driver. If it's the diff itself or the flat head screws under the chassis drill the head off and grab the stud with pliers and twist. If you get to this point and it still won't come out grab flute style screw extractors or left handed drill bits and hope for the best.
Wither dremel a slot, use an extractor or reverse rotation drill bit, or dremel the head off and separate the pieces then use pliers. I have to do one of these things every time I work on a buggy. 😂
@@mikescherrer4923 I tried every single method without succes. So i slot the frame and the head of the screw cut in half. The only thing that i dont is the debounder stuff on a screw.
@4everpee you just keep stepping up the drill bit size till the head of the screw comes off, leaving you a stud. You don't want to cut into the chassis it's more expensive and time consuming then finding a case. Don't give up on the extractor method. I've done it a few times. It helps to file the stud flat to the case and then center punch the broken stud. Carefully drill with 1/16 and use wd40 or some kind of lube. Have extra bits in case you smoke out a bit and it loses cutting force. A lot of rc success is not giving up and having some cash.
