2023, Im back. LOL During the intervening time I have listened to several dozen artists play Czardas on all sorts of instruments, stringed, wind: reed and brass but none compare with this rendition by Valerie Kim.
How different this sounds in 2021 from when I first listened to it back in 2007 (it was first posted in 2007) My hearing has deteriorated so much. I do miss those upper notes. March 2022 Even more hearing loss. I have to "imagine" the high notes from memory.. April 2024, another handfull of notes gone. I see her finger them but no sound.
@@kalikatespeliculero4771 Thanks. It happens as you age and have worked in hazardous noise environment before OSHA. However by 88, Ive listened to classical violin over the years enuf to remember and "imagine" the missing notes - the last 13 notes on a piano - 3 more since 2021. Back in 1960 I tested up to 26KHZ and could hear bats (for what its worth) Its enuf to watch her 'live' the music as she plays it. OMHO she's almost as good as many of the masters wil surely match Heifetz or Pearlman when she has another decade or so vbehind her.

Oh no. I'm sorry for what you're going through.
