Solid concept and options to expand your storage.

I love the utility of the shelf. I'm currently running ADF molle panels in my OBW, so I'd have to remove those for this. Nevertheless, it's compelling... mostly for an extra level of security when transporting the other types of gear I like to shoot with (not my camera). 🙂

That's something I failed to mention in the video and after my situation in Vegas, having that extra security covering your items is a huge bonus

Thanks for the video. I just bought the shelf and was wondering if there was an alternative way of accessing the cigarette lighter. Side question....which power station would you recommend that would be compatible on the Outback Wilderness cigarette lighter?

Almost all power stations are compatible with the cig lighter plug. They only charge at around 100w so it will take a long time to charge, but it can keep it from going dead. The one I'm using now is the All Powers 1500. It's on sale right now for almost 50% off. It's been great. I have a video coming out soon on it.

Can a Plano 68 Qt sportsman trunk fit under the shelf? I usually put 3 across when I travel

If it's shorter that 13 inches the answer is yes.

Feels like a cool idea if you need the storage, but looks like it would be too low to sleep beneath it, not to mention I usually get into bed from the rear.

Just depends on the adventurer I guess. It's actually pretty cool, but I haven't been sleeping in the car.

@@roamingwithjosh Honestly, if I hadn't built a cabinet on one side that's taller than that, I'd probably still consider it. Just pull it out when doing camping trips, leave it in when just running around for the extra storage. Actually, I wonder if I could DIY a narrower one or cut down one of the CAtuned ones, and then mount it on the side of the cabinet... hmmmmm.

Lmfao... it's not trickin'. If you got it 🤑. Seriously, I just close my eyes and hit submit. Then cry when i have to pay the bill... Then rejoice when the item made my life better.

Are those 4 bolt holes 10mm fine pitch thread or coarse pitch? I have a different mod in mind and just need to find the right bolts.
Edit: for anyone wondering, the bolt holes are actually M6-1.00

      @@roamingwithjosh I figured it out. They’re just M10 machine bolt threads. 🤦‍♂️

Another option for the 12V is to just purchase a 90 degree elbow adaptor so its easily accessible without doing anything to the cigarette outlet. That's why I plug my weBoost in.
    Great video!
