i like how there is a slight feint by the fencer to the top of the body with a reaction from the coach then a hit to the foot... i think... i had to watch a few times to trey to see something... did I get it right? ok so watching it again (for some other foot shots) there is a feint from the fencer high when the coach does (it looks like) a counter sixte the fencer disengages and lunges to the foot.... I was trying to see what prompt you gave them to go for the foot... i feint high, then low then high again (trying to get the opponent into a rhythm) all the time coming quietly closer then drop to the foot with a lunge..
