I'm a conservative living in Massachusetts, and I voted to legalize Marijuana. It is now legal is Massachusetts, which makes me proud and the surrounding states envious. As irritating as potheads are, it should be legalized so that the crime surrounding it lessens and the benefits surrounding it can be used. In my opinion if you want to ban pot, you have to ban cigarettes, alcohol, and corn syrup.

As a Canadian who does not use marijuana or substances of any kind, it was interesting to me to note that the day before marijuana was legalized in Canada the American Government was screaming along with Corporate America about what a huge mistake was being made and how they wanted sanctions imposed to get it stopped. On the day after legalization, Corporate America started screaming to Washington that they were losing out on a huge opportunity and they didn't want those Canadian Companies to get the jump on them in the world market and how could it be legalized quickly in the U.S. all the while negotiating with and buying as many stocks as they could in the Canadian marijuana companies........... Certainly give credence to Mr. Ventura's opinions doesn't it.

Jesse Ventura is the person that made me aware of the lie and debacle the "Gulf of Tonkin incident" was, I can't believe so many people died as a direct result of a bold face lie.
It was a pleasure to watch this interview. Both participants were clear about their positions and opinions and were able to articulate their respective points very well. One very important reasons for this is that both were respectful to the other and allowed him to make his point without ‘talking over’ him or otherwise interrupting. This interview should be mandatory watching for other interviewers and political commentators so they may see how professionals are supposed to conduct themselves.

I agree that this is an exemplary discussion. I'm not a fan of Cenk and tyt but this was a much more professional and fair discussion compared to interviews conducted by most other hosts. Alex Jones being the worst, Joe Rogan did a nice job lately on his J.R Experience #858.
I live in Mexico too and yes, we have very strict gun control and the number of deaths by fire arm are higher than in America, but that doesn't mean we should legalize the use of it. The reason why gun deaths are so high is because of the war between cartels whose guns are sold by the US. In a sense, America's ridiculous 2nd amendment found it's way to hurt Mexico as well as the U.S.
This is literally the only time I can even listen to Cenk because Ventura is so wise

Cenk, The US is 10th in total number of homicides in a year (12,253). Mexico is 3rd with 19,669, and top of the charts is Brazil, 50,674. In per capita, the US is 107th with 3.9/100,000 while Honduras is first with 84.6/100,000. You can thank Hillary for that last one too.

I really see a good president in Jesse, even if he has net grasped it yet.
He has all the realistic ideas about government and enough practice to put it to good use.
I also agree that as a contender he should have the same rights as the other big names involved.
Winning an election should and must be part a parcel of knowledge of polatics, not knowledge about who to get as a backer, in fact i feel that the best backinganyone can get is from the people themselves, it might be that donations are smaller but you can be sure that it is from someone who really what a certain candidate to win over another.I also feel that as Jesse says, these elections regardless of where they are in the world are allowed to start way to early, by which time many of the candiates have had time to show their true intention and reason for runnning, and far to manyntimes we see candidates that at the begining have good concrete intentions thatbfor some reasoo get cut away to nothing short of anythingnthevother two main parties are banking their hopes on which are no different from thevtwo main parties,
The only way that this can be stamped out, is the each candidate puts forward a full disclosure of their plan and stick to it.
By this I mean that promises like Trumps to get thevreal truth revealed about 9/11 which clearly is no longer on his list of promises, but just one of manynthat has travelled further than thebback burner, in fact i think it is now in the fridge..?, and likely to spend the rest of his term there, so to joe public is just a broken promise, somethig that any contendant must avoid at all cost because its on promises such as this that gets them elected in the first place.
I think Jesse is smart enough to be totally aware of, and i dont think would go along with.
I really hope he does have a go at the next election, but leaves yhe others alone and does does so purely on the true facts with nothing to be held over his head , being in this position really would put him way out in front from the start, however in doing so he would have to makebsure he is skeeky clean because they others would be looking for the slightest holes to get fingures in and pull apart, being gend up on any misconduct by the others is always good for the record?
