- Jesse Ventura is considering running for President as an independent. "I have that voice in the back of my head that says to me, 'if not to me, then who?'"
Ventura gave his first American TV interview in 3 years to "The Issue Is: with Elex Michaelson."
He says only a 3rd party candidate could truly unite our polarized country.
When he was elected governor of Minnesota, Ventura said Donald J. Trump reached out to him & they were friends.
Now, he's not a fan of President Trump as commander in chief.
"The first night of boot camp, there's one person who will break down, wet their pants, cry for their mom...that's Donald Trump."
Ventura talked about cannabis, climate change, wrestling, and more in this unedited, in depth interview.

Nobody is perfect and circumstances can unfluence/force an outcome to be negative, plus you coviently leave out a whole lot varibles. First of all, if you expect somebody to constantly win your deluded. Secondly, who knows the deficit was bigger with a traditional bought & paid for politian in office, in a system which isnt set up to do what is right for the ordinary people. If a politician really honestly explains how a negative outcome came to be most people would understand it, nor would anyone be able to purge this corrupt system in a few short years. The kind of politician you appearantly deem capable have done nothing else than fucking up, yet you expect a new comer to solve everthing in a blink of an eye.
You make the serious allegation he is crook, but offer nothing which suggest your speaking the truth or that there actual is a valid reason of suspicion. Oh, and that 7 billion you keeping banging about is not even close being a drop in the bucket compared what traditional politicians have wasted, stolen and given away to their overlords. The way you attack his caracter reveals a lot about the kind of person you are, you either are a paid troll or your still fully asleep.

Im a marine corps veteran and i know that if a vet says the military industrial complex is corrupt it comes from a place of a love hate relationship . We love our country enough to serve as young men and women , but realize as we get older and wiser its not a perfect system and does need reform.

You gotta look at it from his perspective. He’s a fairly private person these days and a presidential campaign will be grueling and at least a year or so just to run. Jesse would not run unless he thinks he can win.

Another problem is the Commission of Presidential Debates. It was established by Democrats and GOP to fill the void, after the League of Women Voters refused to take part in a farce of kid gloves type questioning. For more info on why they back out read:

The “non partisan” Commission sets the absurdly high and arbitrary 15% support in national polls selected by the Commission for a third party candidate to get in. Had it been at a more reasonable 5% both Gary Johnson and Jill Stein would have got in the 2016 debates. However I’m sure they’d be given less questions and the ones they were given would have been loaded/bias.
