hi Marie, I love these sets!! I work in resin professionally, there are a few tricks you can try to stop air bubbles - sometimes spraying a little isopropyl alcohol in the mould first can help if the mould is very tiny (make sure 100% dry before you put resin in though). Also, resin likes to be warm, so you can put it somewhere nice and warm and often the bubbles will rise, but like you did in the video, tapping the mould often helps. I'd definitely invest in a more powerful UV light though - helps hugely! (like a nail art lamp)
Seeing the pure joy on your face while your enjoying putting these together is awesome. The pure joy I see when u build mini verse and Journaling is why I watch you. It's probably why I watch nate and his pack openings the pure joy he has in opening them.
For the hilts that popped out, you probably just had the resin settle to the bottom of the mold leaving a gap at the top. you need to add a little bit more resin and put the hilt back in. It's cool they give you two hints to make a second one. Hopefully they give you enough resin too.

Really cool set for the mini brands series really hope I can find some. With the swords if you try making them again you might try using the UV light as you put it together so that it harden to the sword handle might make it easier to take out of the mold
I made the same face when I saw these at Target!! I actually scared the worker that was stocking them. 😆 we had some issues with the swords too! Sunlight is much better than the master chef light so I highly recommend doing it outside! Good luck!

Hiya. Great effort for your 1st time working with these tiny silicone molds. I work with standard size molds and sometimes struggle with those lol. If you pop them into some soapy water and give the molds a bit of a squishing and get some of the water inside, then they will come out easily. This is how we do it in the resin world lol. I need this MiniVerse set so I can make them and add them to my other resin makes. I don't think they are in the UK yet though sadly. xx

So, I go to my local comic con every year, in September, and this year they announced the four actors who play the four hobbits in The Lord of The Rings are all coming for two of the three days, and they put group photo ops on sale with all four of them. And being such a fan of the franchise as I am, I just HAD to get the photo. So, I did!!! I've got my group photo with all four of them set for the first day they're there!!! And I am so hyped!!!!

My parents used to read the book to me as a bed-time story before I could read it myself, and I had the old bbc radio adaptation on cassette. I also did my university dissertation on the book too!

I have to admit, that I never knew anything about The Lord of the Rings Movie until they came out on the big screen, my aunties, some cuzns & I, went to see all of them when they came out. I even brought the DVDs. We loved the movies. I live in New Zealand and I got to go visit Hobbiton, it's a lovely place, one of my friends had their wedding reception there and we got to tour the place during the afternoon, had some delicious food and drinks at the tavern. Walking around with Lamps was very magical, in the dark. Thank you for sharing your video, this series looks alot of fun to make, can't wait to see you get more. It took me a while before I went to see LOTR-Fellowship of the Rings, but I wanted to because Sir Christopher Lee was in it. In fact, I ended up going to see it in the cinema about ten times. The other two films I only went to see a couple of times. But of course I got all of them on DVD and then on bluray for myself and I've seen them so many times that I know them almost by heart. And I was older than you when I saw this first time. :D Around the same time, I also fell in love with topps LOTR trading cards and one version I have of almost all of them. I'm missing six of the cards from the third film. Then I found another version of it and was lucky enough to get one memorabilia card with a piece of Merry's traveling cloak fabric. Okay of course I was hoping to get one with a piece of Saruman's outfit on it, but I'll have to settle for that Merry memorabilia card. And if you'd like to swap trading cards with me, I'd be more than happy to do so, as I have an insane amount of duplicates. :D Those miniverse LOTR swords you made are great, but I don't think I have the patience to make them myself. Too many little things and it's all too easy to go wrong. I would have loved to have those, but to have had them finished at the factory. Okay, someone might like to fiddle with the little things, but not me.
These looked very difficult to complete, however, they still came out well. Bella and I always have trouble with getting minibrands together. We can't wait to see what you find next😊

If you’re looking for good Tolkien content here on RUclips I recommend two channels: Men of the West and the Philosopher’s Games.
You can buy these on Amazon but even if you don't buy them there, they have a video from the company. I gives you tricks for getting the swords out of the mold easier.
I think you’re suppose to push the little tube all the way down in the mold and then slowly push it out to file the mold while slowly extracting the tube.
@@basically_marie there’s another RUclips creator that had similar issues she actually had to add more resin after and is going to try a different resin from a hobby shop. You could make your own color effects that way! 🤓
