A water truck and a roller is badly needed to make this a long lasting road. Putting it down dry is only going to cause wheel tracks to form and before you know it the vehicles will be travelling on the sand under the gravel
Just a thought JH, but couldn’t you use your water semi trailer as a makeshift roller? Do the same thing as Ben is doing by track rolling in the gravel.
First thought on this video. How much would it cost to make Ben a rock screen to put on his trailer? Seems to work well for your gypsum and this would stop at the beginning.

Western Australia is just a dust bowl 6 months of the year… maybe time for a bigger ac compressor on the tele handler?
Could you get coats to drop out a roller for a couple of days? Not sure what that cost would be.
