Comparing KIOF with (G)I-DLE (my ultimate gg groups) is a joke itself 🤡 KIOF is doing pretty well with just ONE YEAR from their debut: they sold out concerts in the United States, has got promotions and they are practically one of the most famous groups in the fifth generation. All this coming from a small company. (G)I-DLE is a self made group but we have to admit that CUBE is not a small company and that can influence a lot. I'm really tired of these people who can't even see the context before throwing a whole dumb opinion as a "fact"
2: Are people forgetting (G)I-DLE had songs like "HANN", "LATATA", "LION", & "OH MY GOD"? Comparing a pretty much Veteran group, (in this case), to a Rookie group is a stretch considering the fact that this group doesn't even have much wins from Korean Music shows AND also the fact that they're from a smaller and unknown company compared to CUBE. KIOF isn't failing just because their recent comeback didn’t have massive success. Sometimes, a group needs time to find the right sound or concept that resonates. Who knows? They might come back stronger with a fresh release that changes everything and proves the skeptics wrong.
4: Sorry but no one's gonna stream the song if it's not going viral. It's the truth though. And the fact that some obsessive fans make u feel guilty for not taking time out of ur day to stream the song 1000+ times is insane.
The maknae line get a ridiculous amount of streams and with Jimin and V specifically, there song dont go viral, but they have a MASSIVE solo fandom, same with Jungkook and that's really all it is, I think theres way more solos then there are armys now and Jins numbers are kind of proving that
@@prestonroberts8258 Yeah that's another reason. Plus the makane line's music is more appealing to the west. And only if bighit promoted BTS's solo music to the right audience, they'll def pull a lot of numbers.
@@prestonroberts8258 wdym their song don't go viral? layover flopped ik that but who is the biggest kpop hit of this year come on now. plus like crazy IS the first soloist song to debut #1 on hot 100. jimin never flopped. even before his solo debut only his solos were viral in group albums. y'all forgot how massive filter was.
@@lordciell Here comes solos being annoying lmao, Apt is the biggest song from a kpop artist this year without a doubt, it is because of Bruno obviously but still. And layover didn't flop, you literally just ignored completely what I said lmao, a song doesn't have to go viral for it to do well. Love me again getting a billion streams is the complete opposite of a flop, that's just how big V solo fandom is and Who is big but its 90% pushed by the fandom and like crazy was 100% pushed by the fandom, Who went kind of viral but Like Crazy didnt go viral at all, thats literally just how big Jimin is, Jimin, V and Jungkook don't rely on songs to go viral and that's literally what my point was. You solos are so miserable. It blows my mind how solos moves like blinks even though you stan a member of the group that yall drag. And euphoria is the most streamed BTS bside but filter was big too
But im happy bcz of military we can actually see how every members discography is so diverse with each other and how imp it is to have a strong solo fanbase like look at jimin he is not even moving from bb charts damn 💀but tbh i liked jimin's song the most in maknae line this year than never let go and frnds im looking forward to jin's full album too🤧 but guys where is hobi💀
1. It just depends on an individual's taste tbh. Personally, mantra is more enjoyable than APT. I wouldnt hear apt willingly, yet mantra is so fun for me. Also, Bruno Mars played a HUGE role in making apt this successful
Both Rose and Bruno honestly, bruno and lady gaga collab is also big, but the collab with rose impact is also bigger..Both Spotify and YT set records with the best collabs, replacing the collab record held by Taylor Swift..I'm not taking sides but let's be honest..
@@IconicClip I don't think so, APT had a massive start but seems to lack in longevity compared to DWAS taking in the fact that DWAS will probably go back to the #1 spot in a couple of days(there's like less than 100k gap between both the songs). DWAS also had a higher peak on Billboard Hot100 at #3 while APT is predicted to lose a few positions
You know what problem with RM, JHOPE AND YOONGI's streams is that they are not making upbeat pop songs but making indie and hip hop songs ( that they love)which most of the other kpop soloists do hence kpop fans and army don't listen to their music as much as other members or other kpop soloists. BTS rapline is simply not kpop and not for kpop fans but for rap lovers who genuinely love hip hop. Big Hit literally failed to promote them to right audience. For eg. RM's Right Place Wrong Person,Jhope's Jack In The Box,Yoongi's DDay were literallg named under best hip hop albums in 2022,2023 and 2024 in general not just in kpop.
they are right now creating music for the sake of music, not because they need it, they know that as long as they keep it grounded they will have returns on their investment, even if they are not huge sellers, they now have the luxury to create fir the pure joy to create.
I also think it's hard to win the praise of hip hop fans. I've seen numerous hip hop fans react to the rap line and while some do appreciate the music, many don't. They just can't get past the fact they are Asian and rapping in Korean, it's completely foreign territory for them so the rap line are easily dismissed by these hip hop fans.
1: I loved APT but the ads are getting super annoying. More annoying than any other western artists rn. I don't really care since they're promoting but goodness if i hear that song one more time istg- 😭
Right???? Whe i'm on Instagram and i open Rosie's stories i always turn off the volume, i love the song, but enough is enough, i won't listen to that song involuntarily ever again 😅
Same with GD now, ads everywhere, typical YG. They ruin themselves. For what? Power power apt apt power power apt power is repetitive already, when they push it, it's too much.
3. Aespa’s B-sides are really a mix bag. Not a bad thing but it does feel disconnected. But I do feel like they do show the charms of the group, but wish it was done better. 5. People discredit Itzy a lot. Expecting groups to do crazy numbers all the time is unrealistic in a saturated market. Compared to most groups, they are in much better position. 8. I wish IZNA the best. I watch the show and I think the lineup is good. (So hopefully they can do well).
I love BTS and I'm OT7 but I'm not going to go out of my to stream all their songs the same number of times. I don't hate any of their solo releases but there are songs I prefer more than others so it's only natural I will listen to those songs more.
I love Jin but I don't think his latest release is of the same quality as Jimin or JK's title releases. It's just okay. I think I would have preferred a more mature sound.
@@bexeila I'm excited to see what his other songs sound like. Keep in mind I'll Be There is a pre-release so maybe the title track will be better. It frustrates me sometimes when I prefer the b-sides over the pre-releases and title tracks. For Jimin I wish Be Mine had a music video or a performance instead of Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.
@@crystalsnow1138 Same. I've liked other releases from Jin more, so he's definitely capable of better. I do keep in mind that he just returned from the military and is still getting back into the swing of idol life.
I don't understand why are kpop stans want to see even more records than previous comebacks. How tf can an artist chart higher, get more streams, break more records than previous releases? Like what, did you expect Jin's I'll Be There get 10m spotify streams in the first day? It got 5m which is still so good. I swear the people whose saying this kind of things didn't listen the song once
Omg yes, like groups will reach their peak (it is what it is). Especially with new groups debuting, all a group can hope for is to be successful and have a loyal fan base. But to expect them to continue to break a records is ridiculous.
4. orrr.. maybeee they just wanna chill while listening to his song instead of binge stre@ming it to the point they despise it😭?? Some ARMYs take streaming too srsly. If u dont stream, ur not an army and thats on periodt
Kiof is still the 3rd most popular 5th Gen girl group. Though they may not have the biggest streams compared to bm and Illit they’re still in the top 3. No matter how poorly a kiof song does they’re still in the big 3 5th Gen girl groups **as of now**
@@AsaQueenAceOfBabymonster and they are getting that 3rd position without big 4 company privileges and payola 😭 I mean, if that's not impressive, idk what it is
2:37 bsides don’t always have to follow the title track’s footsteps; they can also be used to showcase an artist's versatility. So, in this case, I really appreciate Aespa’s calmer bsides since I can truly hear their voices, which are often overshadowed by the heavy electronic instrumentals in their title tracks.
I feel like people just don’t like the composition, even when they experiment with different styles, it still has their own twist to it that makes it tied to them. A lot of people don’t like flights, not feelings because they find it to be odd, but it is their own twist to the R&B.
The main reason for the difference in popularity between BTS solos is just a difference in music taste amongst fans. Most Armies are more interested in mainstream pop tracks than they are in “indie” rap or ballads, which is why Jungkook and Jimin’s solos have more streams. I think fans, including myself, have passed the period of kpop culture where they feel the need to stream songs they don’t like, which is why Jin’s solo work is “flopping” in comparison to the others with more mainstream work. Favoritism does have a little to do with it but at its core, fans just prefer a different style of music than what Jin is creating.
3. Title track is a title track for a reason, no? Whats the point of bsides if they all were to be similar to the title track? They maintain the reference to title tracks, all the while being slightly different imo and thats what makes them interesting for me. Thats just my opinion tho, i understand why people might find them bland
"Kiss of Life is flopping because they aren't charting at the level of GIDLE" GIDLE is a top girl group, so what is this comparison? Who is comparing Kiss of Life to GIDLE? Kiss of Life isn't on that level. A 25% increase over their previous sales is a great accomplishment for Kiss of Life.
I am not sure if that one was sarcasm or not... 😅 still, if it is true... 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations!!! If it is not... Still congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉 For another great video.
As a straight male who’s been called g@y(I censor that cause yt May block it) a million times I 100% disagree. Assuming one’s sexuality is honestly rude, nasty and disrespectful. Just cause they act a certain way, do certain things and behave in ways you as a straight person don’t gives you no right to throw around lgbtqia sayings just cause you think it’s true. I support 🏳️🌈100% and I won’t stand for people calling idols xyz saying cause they did something out of character.
Jin song is actually better all i can say bts solo songs are far better u can really enjoyed it. Hybe is completely neglecting them without anh proper promotion they are on top jimin album broke all records without any promotion and support their songs are catchy
4: Whoever had the time to actually type that opinion HAS NO LIFE. Yeah I understand to stream your favs solo song or groups song, but to be expected to do it CONSISTENTLY and CONSTANTLY is a stretch. People have better things to do or even are busy to focus on a minor matter like this. Jin comes from a very wealthy company like him, go have that discussion with BIGHIT. And if you REALLY DEEP IT, BTS hyung line is quite underrated compared to the Maknae line so this isn't a surprise
1. I don't think Rosie was doing payola bc generally people liked APT but I do agree that Bruno Mars colab was a big boost. And Mantra vs APT is a personal choice. it is just toxic to compare Mantra and APT (even Rosie and Jennie support eachother) 3. I disagree I fell like Aespa's b-sides are really well thought out. The b-sides are usually chill and calm which is nice because their title track is very heavy. If you listen carefully to their b-sides they always try to match the mood of the album, I don't think any song in album feels out of place. And again it is a personal choice because Aespa has their unique music style.
the song is not the organic hit, people claim, sure Bruno gave it a push but the actual push is the heavy playlisting and autoplay that shoves the song down everyone’s throat.
Someone knows if they are using these promotional media like "ads, playlisting, autoplay" the other members in their new solos of which they heavily accuse Rosè song?
It's time for the army to accept that Jimin & JK are the most famous members and they have fans far from the band's fandom just like Jenny and Lisa but at least JK got a promotion from Hype unlike Jimin
2. Honestly who cares? their music is top notch imo and if they were from big3 they wouldnt be "tanking" (which idk if they even r). For a rookie, they've had immense success regardless.
5. I agree 100%. People drag JYP far too much. Yes they have their flaws, but compared to the rest of the Big4, they’re literally the best choice. If i was a trainee, i would pick them.
Yg stans be accusing others about payola while yg is the biggest company of payola along with sm close behind. The no. Of times rose's song babymonster and aespa ads apperi on my tl is uncountable. If it was other companies doing this..they'd be the first to scream payola. But since it's them..its "promotion" tactic or its just her/ their label doing their job. Keep the same energy for everyone biches. Also the no. Of times aespas whiplash and rosés song played right after any song I played is too fishy.
Right!honestly it's not fishy they literally pay for those streams and ads even the Spotify top 50 hits doesn't actually contain hits but songs that are paid to be hits same with RUclips ads and accidental streams with autoplay feature and if you have to pay for charts and streams is it even organic sales ?😅
7. I remember being bullied so much girls started rumors that I was a lesbian and then that I was trans because I was so ugly I could not be a "real girl" should I have been happy they assumed my orientation/identity 🤡🤡
1. It actually depends on taste i personally enjoyed mantra and new women more than Apt. I am not really fan of rosè musical style only solo of her that i actually enjoyed was hard to love. Lisa and Jennie songs suit my taste better than rosé and jisoo style but since it's Rosè 'The best singer of group' everyone would love, praise and like her solo more than other members and i see 'number ones' and other kpopies hating on jenlisa solos just cause they aren't best singers but at end of day it's music taste.
It is not because Rose is the best singer people praise her. Most people enjoy the song and it is addictive. I was in Korea for 2 weeks and lots of people playing APT on their phones and malls playing this song on repeat.
Talking about bts members solo releases let me tell everyone that many kpop stans are literally saying that blackpink solo work is more sucessful then most of the bts members but the actual thing is bts as a solo artist are under bight not any American label like blackpink members and moreover if you see the crazy playlisting and payola blackpink members are getting from their western labels are insane. For example jin's solo single got 30m Playlist reach on the day of release while rose's atp got 140m+, jennie's mantra got 98m, lisa's new women 130m+ so comparing and not to forget their tiktok, spotify, youtube and apple music adds. Hence comparing organic music with industry pushed payed songs is completely wrong. I am not a bts or blackpink fan but a casual listener of both groups. Hence I can clearly see how kpop fans are literally making fun of bts members when most of 3rd,4th and 5th generation idols and group's are getting streams and hype coz they are paying to different platforms.
@Bloom_Jiya I don't know about you but I literally can't give respect to industry plant artists like Olivia, Sabrina, blackpink members,.........as a artist as I give to actual organic artists like BTS members, Taylor swift, drake,eminem...... coz I know of you believe in your art you won't seek shortcuts of paying to streaming platforms.
@@Bloom_Jiya You know what most of the awards are also dependent on these payed chart performances. Anyway if you want to know more you can watch "Boracity Magazine" youtube channel where she explained how these platforms and awards work. "WHY MUSIC INDUSTRY IS AFRAID OF BTS" - This is the title. I would recommend you to watch this channel's videos they are really good
The one who compare G(I)DLE with KIOF.. the gap between their debut alone is already 5 years. What does that person expect.. To be able to have that much sale from little company with one year group is already impressive. Not even many rookies from middle size company can do so.
@@busybody5381 (G)I-DLE even released TOMBOY four years after their debut 🤣 they were hella famous at that time, but nooooo, let's compare a group success with four years (at that time) against a rookie group success with barely one year since their debut 💀
I think the reason ppl think it's payola is becasue rose actually still did her solo career under the same label while the others step put on their own
Apt is viral right now so many people love it also Rosè is extremely smart, the connections she has made in west are helping her like she had been seen many times with spotify ceo and became besties with sofia richie whos husband is the current boss of atlantic music
7. Assuming someone's sexuality is just wrong 😭 especially since you actually don't know the person you just know what the idol chooses to show u assuming things is what got a lot of idols and groups in deep shit
1- agreed kinda, tbh APT is really good but the chorus irritates me too much I swear I got sick of it in a week which is a record cuz I really never get sick of songs that quickly and the ads are killing me. For mantra I’d say I loved it except for the chorus which is very repetitive.
I actually loves Aespa‘s album and don’t think they are messy. I like when they try different genres, especially in Kpop Besides are important for that since most groups usually stick to a sound. Funny thing is, I think the last album of Aespa is the most cohesive. For the first time I didn’t like their title track. I think Whiplash is so uninspiring but the besides are SO good. I don’t get why you think they are generic. Kill it (should have been the title track), Just another girl, Pink Hoodie, Flights, Not Feelings, Flowers have very distinctive sounds.
The song literally had more than 100m paid playlisting on the day it was released, and y'all say it wasn't promoted. No other song by any kpop act this year had the amount the amount of paid ads on every platform, playlisting, autoplay that Apt. Had.
I wanna talk about Kim Woojin, from one side, there's people that still tie him to skz and try to force interactions with them like that one time when they made him play "Christmas Evel" and from the other side, people who pratically act like doesn't exist, blurring his face from old videos and saying that he needs to go to jail even after his acusations have alredy been proven as fake.
No matter wht anyone's says but APT is irreplaceable 😂 cuz now its a nation anthem loved by presidents alll over the world specially in korea Mantra is also good but for me I would say not worth it for the wait We expected a full album fom her too
Did i like mantras more than apt, yes But why is it always them against each other. They are literally the top 2 kpop artists with the most monthly listeners. And also ppl acting like other kpop artists don't have collabs with big western artists is wild.
5) There will come a time where stans will understand that not everything has to do with JYP. The girls were simply replaced by newer artists that debuted around the time their momentum came to a halt. 2022 was the year of debuts for NJ and LSRFM, Kep1er and NMIXX. By the time itzy got back on their feet from the sneakers hate the public had already replaced them with the other groups that debuted and gave them new songs to make popular or discuss. It's unfortunate for the girls because I do think itzy is too good of a group to be ignored. It was a crucial time for any 4th gen group as the times were already starting to change. Itzy is at that stage now that old generations experiences where they ride off the already existing and loyal fanbase rather than bringing in newer audiences. And that's fine! Like you said they will sell seats, they will sell albums and that's enough for JYP. Expecting a change now is delusional especially from a company like JYPE. 6) I have been saying this! Yes JYP has a laundry list of reasons to be disliked c'mon it's a company but they are doing just fine with their groups. Maybe y'all don't like the promotions or schedules whatever but these issues are so small compared to what SM and HYBE even YG are dealing with rn. Maybe they have something under the wraps I don't know but as of right now they seem like the only one out of big3 and HYBE to do well regardless of the success of its artists. 7) Is that person serious? The queer community in EA is functioning much different than the one we're used to in the west. No, you can't ASSUME someone's sexuality from their mannerisms. If anything you do nothing but feed to the stereotypical labeling of queer people. They are allowed to exist without being assumed as queer regardless of their mannerisms fitting with what YOUR idea of a queer person is. Get a grip and stop investing in something that quiet literally has 0 to minimum effect on you. Even if you're queer or straight these are topics that can be sensitive to people such as celebrities who constantly have their private lives be violated by crazy fans. The least you can do is not assuming anything beyond what they show you.
6. HYBE's *(which was created on March 31, 2021)) "List of Scandals" are we talking about real scandals, or those created by the media in which the other 3 labels have connections...
I agree, there is currently a media smear campaign against HYBE spreading rumors and half truths mixed with lies to turn people against them. There are so many going on one after the other that it is obvious there is media play going on. If you compare HYBE’s so-called scandals to those of YG and SM, HYBE’s is child’s play. Not saying HYBE is an angel, but the smear campaign is just so obvious that I don’t get how people don’t see it.
1. Rosé is a true artist. She gives it the passion and personality. Thats something that sold apt to me 3. Lot of their bright songs were supposed to be in my world full album. 7. The problem is lot of fans talk about idols as if all of them were str8 and no one calls them out. Double standart.
Wether you like it or not queer people are minority and 99% of the idols are most probably straight. They're just doing fanservis as it is a part of their job. And the most important part is - you shouldn't even care about their sexuality. It's literally not yours nor anyone's business.
@@tp5510 exactly. I feel like some people treat sexuality as the most important trait of other person's character and that's where their obsession comes from. Btw saying that someone is gay just because his mannerisms is such a stereotypical thinking. Especially if that someone is na entertainer who plays in front of the camera.
What does actual true artist mean??? Is it because rosè is best singer in grp cause I see other things in other members also especially jenlisa like what makes her different writing songs?? jenlisa are doing that too, passion??? they have too Lisa literally started singing and dancing at age of 4 and she is most consistent among them like what actually makes her artist but not others
Jennie and Rose are close and even Jennie said it’s not about how much she sells It’s more important for her to be an artist. Same with Rose they are both successful
My fav solo albums or singles of bts in 2024 are jhope >rm>jimin>v>jin>jk im into hiphop and r&b im suga biased im getting nothing from suga😭i hope he is doing fine rn
Queer person here. Did that person really just say not assuming you know someone's sexuality based on stereotypes about mannerisms is queerphobic?? Queer people don't owe you shit and the focus on idol's sexualities is just so weird to me. It borders on fetishization. These aren't characters in a book you can headcannon as queer, they're real people you don't know and most likely never will know, so their sexuality is literally none of your business. If they wanna come out, cool, if they don't that's also cool. Constantly talking as if you know their sexualities is weird and can easily make idols uncomfortable, regardless of their sexuality. Just don't assume anyone's straight or gay, and don't go aroud speculating on it either. Not to mention people can have different levels of self acceptance when it comes to their sexuality, specially in a more conservative country like Korea. Can you imagine not being ready to accept you're queer, or not being ready for other people to know, and then seeing a bunch of people online talking as if it's the most obvious thing? I can tell you that I've been in that position and it's terrifying. You don't feel safe, you feel self conscious about your every move and you feel like everyone's judging you for something you haven't even come to terms with yourself. The paranoia that comes with not knowing if your family and people close to you may come across that information before you're ready to tell them fucks with your brain. Not to mention knowing people have been judging you and talking to you behind your back based on completely arbitrary mannerisms. The whole experience affected me almost as much as being outed did, it's genuinely traumatic. I can't imagine dealing with it on such a big scale like some idols do. And of course there are queer people who went through this and didn't care, but you never know where they are in their life, so just be fucking thoughtful and mind your own business. It's really easy to keep your mouth shut. Thinking you're entitled to do talk about someone's sexuality because 'just look at them, it's obvious' is disgusting. Just leave idols alone. Even if you're right and they're queer, you don't get to go around talking about their sexuality like it's your personal party trick. Those idols may be confident in their sexuality but want to keep it private, they may not care about what people assume or they may be extremely uncomfortable with it. We don't know because we don't know them, so we don't get to act entitled to their personal life. Whoever wrote that opinion, you're the queerphobic one and you're the problem. Whether you're queer or not, you don't give a shit about how your words, actions and assumptions can harm other queer people. You just care about yourself, what you want to see in media and, this is an assumtion, justifying your weird idol shipping. You don't even stop to consider how you may be harming queer communities and then call us sensitive for being bothered by the way you treat us. We're not an exotic species, we're not props, we're not here to be gossiped about and used for diversity points or for your weird fetishes. Queer people are just people. Idols are just people. Respect that or disrespectfully, fuck off.
The BP ladies have come out with solo songs at the same time. It’s natural to compare. What’s not natural is trying to gain popularity by tearing the other members songs apart. Grow up.
Can’t say I see people lining up to congratulate you, but sure, I’ll bite. Look at you, joining the ranks of the sleep-deprived and snack-crazed. How far in are we? Getting friendly with that all-day ‘morning’ sickness yet? Random cravings kicking in? And just wait till you’re waddling around, unable to see your own feet; pure joy, really. Welcome to the chaos that is motherhood! ❤😂🙏✨
whoever wrote 4: LMFAOO it's not jimin and jungkook's fault for being the most popular & succesful soloists from their group. locals love their music. especially jimin in US is HUGE. what did u expect? it's impossible for all members from a group to be that big. look at 1d, fifth harmony or 'n sync. ofc other 5 have their solid fans too but come on.
I don't know why you solo stans acting like this not only you but im talking about other members as well I'm not jin solo stan but i understand what the person is trying to say he is talking about how army and bighit discriminating members like there promotions from company and fan made playlists etc of course he/ she is not talking about popularity bcz v is most popular bts member and one more thing which i notice is there genres jk and Jimin both chosed camercial pop and other members chosed jezz , r&b,pure hiphop etc.
@@MomokhanKiki ik what that person meant but putting the blame on the fandom is not the right thing, yes? and as i say jikook is the most popular members in west so ofc even without fandom they pull big numbers. y'all don't wanna understand that they are as big as soloists as their group. it's not the fandoms fault.
Idc,i am obsessed with apt....Rosé is finally treated better, getting recognize in western and instead of getting happy for hwr, people are jealous GET LIFE!!!!
1. Personally, I prefer APT more than Mantra, however why does it constantly have to be a competition between these girls? This is arguably a big year for BLACKPINK solo work and each girl has been thriving with their releases respectively. Let’s just be happy that we’re even getting music in the same year. 2. Even though this comeback isn’t my favorite, groups will go through phases where not everything they put out isn’t as show stopping as the last and I think it’s better for them to put out stuff they enjoy rather than avidly try to top what they did before. It can mess with the love of your craft. Kiss of Life is doing really well and comparing them to (G)-Idle isn’t fair in the slightest. 3. Yeah I have a lot of Aespa b-sides in my playlist, but I never find myself going to intentionally stream them. However, with Armageddon and Whiplash, I have liked the more recent ones. 4. Refer back to 1. 5. I’ve been a Gold defender, the title track and the album, but these girl are just fine. Hate that they not getting more love but sometimes that happens to artist. Staying stagnant for a while. 6. JYP, don’t change. Keep treating these artist the way they deserve to be treated.
The idols sexuality one is crazyyy bro wdym ??? I am queerphobic cause i dont wanna lable someone?? Huh? Babes you're done You're done touch some air ur braincells will thank you
Cause i dont wanna push people into sexuality i am a good person not a bad one 😂😂 imagine bro imagine labeling people the sexuality they are NOT and saying we all homophobic for it thats sooooo delulu bro YES SOME IDOLS ARE GAY,BISEXUAL OR ANY OTHER SEXUALITY BUT WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH???? LET THEM LIVE FOR F*CKS SAKE
Having several versions or covers of a song is a marketing strategy cause at the end of the day someone is playing and streaming that song voluntarily. Not the same as getting a song you didnt request streaming numbers cause its gets autoplayed. thats payola
1) imo the feature doesn't matter. The song was gonna chart anyways cus it's the type of song that was very much needed in this era of kpop where everyone is trying to keep up with the trends. Rosie's song is like a breath of fresh air I haven't listened to a song like that in a while.
I wouldn't say the feature doesn't matter, Bruno Mars being on the song did help reach a new audience that maybe wouldn't have listened to the song otherwise. I mean he's one of the biggest music artists in the world (if not the biggest), it's going to help the song. But that doesn't mean all the success is owed to Bruno Mars, yes the song would've still been successful without Bruno Mars but lets not act like him being on the song had zero impact on how well the song is doing.
It's a hit because it reminds most people of past songs. And they miss it. Even the MV had it go back to high school. They know what they do and I love it.
7. The amount of entitlement and creepiness this person holds, on top of that gaslighting at the end to force people to agree to them, I really pray for the emotional and mental health of the people having to live around them.
The only reason apt is having high numbers is bc of Bruno. I bet money if the song was rose only she would have flopped. She has 2 million monthly listeners and after the song was released she had 35 ml all of a sudden and her fan are saying is organic numbers? lol those ml are from Bruno! The same thing happened with jennie and Abel. That’s part of the payola game. They know that having American label support will help them and not the fandom bc their fandom don’t stream… 😭 only are here for the mv’s .
I think the song would have been a smash hit in Korea regardless but globally I agree. it'd probably be getting 2-3M daily streams max if it was just her
having 32 songs isn't flex and to let uk the lesser the songs the easier it is to stream them💀 and if u check their daily 24 hours daily streams artists they don't even have entry of top5 artists
Its rose's song i think i got ad of her from her channel and yeah bruno did played huge role bcz we have never seen her moving from more than 3m streams on her own
The opinion with army is kind of half and half tbh, when we look at maknea line promos armys actually take an initative to promot the new releases, havw creative ways to stream and push playlisting etc. But when it comes to hyung line this is widely missing. Either their releases are almost immediately followed uo by another members release (like just a week or two later) or the fandom just feel absent in the general release and tracking period (as evident with ibt) Edit:- now ik people will stream what they like and not what they dont like but the thing is many accounts (on ss like yt twt insta etc) promot and belive in the bts is 7 and those who are army supports all 7 equally narrative (at least non biased charting/ updates/ playlisting accounts etc) and such accounts push to their max during one period but all of sudden goes crickets on other periods when they claim to be accounts dedicated to members updates and pushing their streams with not one but multiple account admins. In such circumstances it does becomes unfair towards certain members. Wont include company promos cause most of those are customatized by the members themselves according to their needs amd ease. Now i agree with you in the fact that if we stan someone we are not obligated to stream music and we have our personal lives to live and i myself am not a "streamer" i enjoy their music as and to the ease of my convince. But if you look at army fandom, most of us do belive in streaming, tho i do not encourage to force people to stream, but for me personally if i have time and convince i do stream. Its just my opinion tho!!! Loved your vedio and your take !!!
How was Mantra poorly promoted? It literally had tons of Billboard ads around the world, had 24 hours of tracking, 90M playlisting reach and #21 on TTH first day, multiple music show performances both in the US and Korea. This is more promo than literally every kpop act out there. APT simply did better because of Bruno, it really isn't that difficult to understand (though the ads and autoplay are getting annoying now, like pls stop. It was one of the reasons I ended up disliking Flowers). As for personal taste, I do kinda agree Mantra is better than APT(completely based on my music taste, don't come for me lol).
@demonicfly07 Yea well promotions is kpop don't really last long but that doesn't change the fact that Mantra was a heavily promoted single prior to its release
Mantra is a good song, but its the similar in theme as BP songs (as is Rockstar and New Woman) - "kick-@$s women, i'm hot, i'm pretty, i'm sexy and you got nothing on me". APT sounds refreshing and the melody is easy to follow even for people who can't sing, can't rap or can't dance -- it's more universal. It is a real hit and cultural phenom-- it's being played in clubs and so many people dressed up as Rose or Rose+Bruno as couples for Halloween. Maybe Rosie's other new songs will do well, but I don't know if it will do as well as APT, because it's just something else -- like the Wondergirls' Nobody and Gangnam Style was -- it transcends Kpop sound. And this is good for all of Blackpink. People who had no idea who Rose was is now discovering blackpink -- and will expand the fan base of all 4 girls.
@@Lalisa-manoBANGS-arestable in my opinion, the themes are similar -- i'm a hot, independent woman, don't mess with me -- which is very much in theme with the songs in Born Pink if you objectively think about it. I know both songs wanted to celebrate their independence from YG, but if you are just a casual listener who has no context of YG (which most normal people are) -- the theme is the same. Of their latest solos -- i would say APT and Moonlit Floor are not the kinds of sounds and themes that I have heard them do as 'Blackpink'.
@@bidyosko mantra is pretty self explanatory, its for empowering the girls out there with an a catchy anthem, yes its similar to what bp used to release but this time they aren't just talking about herself she's conveying the message TO you FOR you. And i have no idea how u think new woman is even slightly similar to anything bp has given us so far
@ the same reason i can imagine “Mantra” as a blackpink song. New Woman, theme-wise and musical style wise (except for the 2nd pre-chorus maybe) is along the same alpha-female tracks that we hear in Born Pink
@bidyosko new women is no where like no where is near blackpink or Lisa old songs it's entirely different genre, style, meaning and all even mantra is different but ofcourse number ones want to make rosé different than others will say this
get loud isn't doing that well cause Igloo was significantly better and that's why its getting good daily streams and get loud isn't. If Igloo was the title track, it would have been just as successful as sticky
The song had over 130m paid playlisting on just Spotify on the day of its release, paid ads, playlisting, excessive autoplay on literally every platform. Even cupid wasn't shoved down our throats like this. Y'all are delusional if you think the song isn't promoted lol, no other k-act has had this much paid promotion, not even Jennie and Lisa, though they're right behind her. She should thank Bruno and Atlantic records everyday for finally giving her a hit through their tools.
Well I don’t think is a conspiracy to say they have payola….. the American industry is very corrupt and ppl pay big money to be played on radio… is the truth. An example here: bts is not much played on radio bc bts don’t pay to that industry. When they are played is bc the song is already massive and getting popular and some stations don’t have a choice, but if they don’t want to play it they won’t. So let’s accept that bp members are doing connections and tricks to chart and that’s is having American collaborations. Sorry to mention bts here but as big as they are they collaborated with small, indi artist , artist from London, korean , Japanese and they are not worried about not charting high bc they think about the music. Of course they like to be known and chart but look how they haven’t sign to a American label.
BTS was played a lot on radio. they do get payola. I heard them on radio all the time. ESPECIALLY their english tracks (Dynamite and Butter) and not you making “London” seem like The UK ISNT A HUGE MARKET???? lmao
@@MeiHeart1Getting played on the radio is not equal to payola tho, payola is paid for play, whether it's on radio, paid ads, playlisting and autoplay. BTS has never done Payola, the amount of radio spins they have despite their being a massive demand will tell you that. Unlike BP and BP members, who have over 100 m playlisting on the release day, paid ads on literally every platform, excessive autoplay. UK is definitely a huge market but artists like Lil Simz, Moses Sumney, Wale, Loco and many more and more are not. The difference between BTS members and BP members are that BTS members give other artists their biggest songs while BP members get their biggest songs by collaborating with artists that are 100 times bigger than them.
Its funny to me how you always react like you were expecting YG to have good lyrics ore sound different or teddy to left behind that old ass formula and make something new 😭😭
You Say that Itzy Is flopping, but that Jype Is doing great...The only group well promoted Is Skz..Twice Is getting random promo overseas and a great tour because they are Stil in top 3 among kpop groups worldwide in term of kpoppies' hype, Nmixx are overpromoted but these promotions aren't equal to success or popularity...so the only group Who Is getting huge promotions and great results Is Skz .. a group that Is still getting more promo than most of Hybe's groups...and we shouldn't talk about the things Jyp Is involved into.
Nmixx overpromoted? Have you seen them on big shows like knowing bros or running man? Does Nmixx have a lot of ads on every streaming platform? They gained attention for their vocals, even after a lot of hate came upon their debut. In addition, JYPE has their own divisions for promotions.
@octafianus1 they got multiple MVs and ads every Cb since their debut...they got many cbs, many schedules...at least 3 members have been mcs for TV show or RUclips shows, units photoshoots for brands... brands deals...they have got osts...and everything regardless of their popularity that has never been close to other groups...they are getting more than what everyone else would get basing on their popularity... they are well promoted by Jype... It's not bad admitting it
8. The iland-2 songs created by the blacklabel were good It got me thinking if they are able to give good songs like tht, why did they give meovv tht song?
I don't like the Jennie, Rose comparison. Why does there need to be any comparison when they were clearly doing different concepts and genres? And Bruno Mars did play a significant role in APT success. About bts solos, everyone knows maknae line is clearly more popular than hyung line. Hence it is expected they will pull more numbers everywhere. Quite frankly, I was very surprised with J Hope's Lollapalooza turnout and Suga's successful world tour. They did quite well for themselves. Given that popularity gap, more pop oriented songs like 'seven' and 'who' were significantly more successful that V' title tracks internationally. That's just market for you. Imo that RM song with Youjeen feature was absolutely great. But it is often not mentioned. So expecting or guilting bts fans for more numbers is strange and unhealthy. It is off putting for fans. I agree with your statement that it's company's job to market. Fans doing it makes them just lazy and unprofessional.
Rosie success is not Jennie downfall!!! Rosie just has a fun and catchy song. Jennie has a good song but for me it’s oh it’s another I’m prettier song. I remember hearing and immediately thinking wait so is this song only for pretty people?

@@IconicClip never said rosé played no part in it
@@IconicClip I don't think so, APT had a massive start but seems to lack in longevity compared to DWAS taking in the fact that DWAS will probably go back to the #1 spot in a couple of days(there's like less than 100k gap between both the songs).
Totally agree

they are right now creating music for the sake of music, not because they need it, they know that as long as they keep it grounded they will have returns on their investment, even if they are not huge sellers, they now have the luxury to create fir the pure joy to create.

Exactly
The main reason for the difference in popularity between BTS solos is just a difference in music taste amongst fans. Most Armies are more interested in mainstream pop tracks than they are in “indie” rap or ballads, which is why Jungkook and Jimin’s solos have more streams. I think fans, including myself, have passed the period of kpop culture where they feel the need to stream songs they don’t like, which is why Jin’s solo work is “flopping” in comparison to the others with more mainstream work. Favoritism does have a little to do with it but at its core, fans just prefer a different style of music than what Jin is creating.

1. Tbh Iove mantra and apt. But stop the ads bro. Its really getting annoying
1. If mantra wasn’t promoted that well what about APT.? Rose told us she was gonna release the song like a day before 💀
The song literally had more than 100m paid playlisting on the day it was released, and y'all say it wasn't promoted. No other song by any kpop act this year had the amount the amount of paid ads on every platform, playlisting, autoplay that Apt. Had.
@@stargazing2628stop crying
I wanna talk about Kim Woojin, from one side, there's people that still tie him to skz and try to force interactions with them like that one time when they made him play "Christmas Evel" and from the other side, people who pratically act like doesn't exist, blurring his face from old videos and saying that he needs to go to jail even after his acusations have alredy been proven as fake.
No matter wht anyone's says but APT is irreplaceable 😂 cuz now its a nation anthem loved by presidents alll over the world specially in korea
Mantra is also good but for me I would say not worth it for the wait
We expected a full album fom her too
Did i like mantras more than apt, yes
But why is it always them against each other. They are literally the top 2 kpop artists with the most monthly listeners. And also ppl acting like other kpop artists don't have collabs with big western artists is wild.
Which other big western artists?
Exactly their scandals are not even scandals media and haters made it one because they want to bring them down
1. Rosé is a true artist. She gives it the passion and personality. Thats something that sold apt to me
@askara9234 well thats what im saying, just stop assuming all together.
Is it because rosè is best singer in grp cause I see other things in other members also especially jenlisa like what makes her different
writing songs?? jenlisa are doing that too, passion??? they have too Lisa literally started singing and dancing at age of 4 and she is most consistent among them like what actually makes her artist but not others
@Lalisa-manoBANGS-arestable it feels genuine
Favouritism ? When you're comparing bangtan to each other . Shutup .
Just because some bsides aren't cohesive to the album doesn't mean they are bad individually. In the end, they are songs.
Grow up.
saying kiof ONLY got 94k sales in their first week is bad is actually insane. 94 THOUSAND ALBUMS WERE SOLD?? HOW IS THAT FLOPPING 😭😭

whoever wrote 4: LMFAOO it's not jimin and jungkook's fault for being the most popular & succesful soloists from their group. locals love their music. especially jimin in US is HUGE. what did u expect? it's impossible for all members from a group to be that big. look at 1d, fifth harmony or 'n sync. ofc other 5 have their solid fans too but come on.

Having several versions or covers of a song is a marketing strategy cause at the end of the day someone is playing and streaming that song voluntarily. Not the same as getting a song you didnt request streaming numbers cause its gets autoplayed. thats payola
Congratulations on your future baby 🥺 o heard that Leeknnow is the father 🙌🏾
Right I honestly love JYPE, and its definitely the company I'd recommend to anyone that wants to be an idol (out of the big companies)
The ads for apt are so annoying bro they pop up every few videos like the song was fine for the first week but i quickly got tired of it 😭
Saying that blinks doesn’t stream is insane , black pink songs are the most streamed gg in Spotify and they only have 2 albums and 32 songs
I think the song would have been a smash hit in Korea regardless but globally I agree. it'd probably be getting 2-3M daily streams max if it was just her
Womp womp blackpink outsold ur faves cry abt it
I don't think she would flop but yeah she wouldn't get these much streams
having 32 songs isn't flex and to let uk the lesser the songs the easier it is to stream them💀 and if u check their daily 24 hours daily streams artists they don't even have entry of top5 artists
Unless they are open it’s none of your business. What about all the families and friends they now need to talk with to avoid any awkward situations.
2. I agree, Ya'll they've only been a group for a year, give my girls some time to grow.
Apt is bruno mars songs like come on ofc it will be successful
The bighit opinion is so true they cant do sh1t they wait for the fans to do all the work and it s exhausting
Its rose's song i think i got ad of her from her channel and yeah bruno did played huge role bcz we have never seen her moving from more than 3m streams on her own
@@Shinshien-cg5jb it s both their song it s named with bruno mars for a reason just like ice cream with selena it s not feat so u know what i mean
Finally jin's comeback 😍 and Rose's Collab song is a hit just because of Bruno Mars not her 😂😂 wait until her solo songs
The opinion with army is kind of half and half tbh, when we look at maknea line promos armys actually take an initative to promot the new releases, havw creative ways to stream and push playlisting etc. But when it comes to hyung line this is widely missing. Either their releases are almost immediately followed uo by another members release (like just a week or two later) or the fandom just feel absent in the general release and tracking period (as evident with ibt)
Edit:- now ik people will stream what they like and not what they dont like but the thing is many accounts (on ss like yt twt insta etc) promot and belive in the bts is 7 and those who are army supports all 7 equally narrative (at least non biased charting/ updates/ playlisting accounts etc) and such accounts push to their max during one period but all of sudden goes crickets on other periods when they claim to be accounts dedicated to members updates and pushing their streams with not one but multiple account admins.
She stopped promoting it after 1 week or the day apt released
@demonicfly07 Yea well promotions is kpop don't really last long but that doesn't change the fact that Mantra was a heavily promoted single prior to its release
@@demonicfly07 She’s about to drop and album so she let it linger for some time.
New women is nowhere near blackpink songs nor does Mantra
@bidyosko new women is no where like no where is near blackpink or Lisa old songs it's entirely different genre, style, meaning and all even mantra is different but ofcourse number ones want to make rosé different than others will say this
ATP still feels like The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name to me. But I like it. Like most pop songs they don't last long.
get loud isn't doing that well cause Igloo was significantly better and that's why its getting good daily streams and get loud isn't. If Igloo was the title track, it would have been just as successful as sticky
APT dropped out of no where almost and it's main promotion was word of mouth from people liking it. I like mantra, but APT is just a more fun song.
