Feeding calves at 3am to attempt to beat the frosts in NZ 😅 it's just starting to fully freeze over by the time I get the milk warmed and fed out. Took me 1 day of frozen pipes and having to bucket feed to start waking up earlier. Love you lambies ❤️

I like using that tractor setup to put up fence. Still would hate fencing! I can’t believe you tighten those wires with your hands. I have use a screwdriver to twist them.

I think (as a farmers kid) that the open air pump shed might be the slow filling of the tank issue. -4 is cold cold cold we complain if it's 3 degrees over night here in NZ - with the pump pipe coming out of the ground without lagging (insulation) did it get cold enough just to get enough ice in the pipe to slow down the filling of the tank and as it warmed for the day the wee bit of ice melted and fulled the tank - no leak - pump shed needs roof, side walls and lagging on any exposed pipe just for the 4-6 weeks of the year it gets that cold and when you need to use the tank - murphy's law
Interesting. That's a good point. But some of the trough still haven't filled up, so not sure what that's about.
@@TaraFarms - so any ice from the pump would have gone into the tank - does the tank do natural flow from the bottom of the tank to the paddocks or is it on a pump to get it all the way to the paddocks - it's just you could not find enough water in or around any of the paddocks to show a leak so depending where and how the water leaves the tank it might have a blockage from the cold night (which will defrost when the weather warms) - the pipes that are not underground like the one coming out of the tank which will not be lagged that needs to be checked (I persume that Aussies like Kiwi's call plumbing insulation lagging)

Jealous of the hoodie and frost. It was 112 degrees here yesterday. Going to be close to that for another week, then it cools off into the 90’s the week after.
It’s a BEAUTIFUL structure 😂. I’m dealing with a leak as well but I know where it is, just have to get the hubby to fix it. NOT replacing a 🚽 on my own

Just a security FYI: Blurring video is not destructive, meaning whatever is behind it could be recovered. Pixelating is better (less pixels = less data to recover) but ideally you'd put a solid black box (no pixels = no data) over it.

The blur I use says it removes some pixels and muddles the image. So idk, the boxes are hard to edit on. But will use pixelation thank you!

I hope you liked the coats. The ones with buttons, the straps can be removed. Wire gates suck. I use to tangle them all the time. Kept getting told that i needed to keep the tight. Stupid me (i was 10 at the time ) still tangled them.
I did thank you, I'll be opening them all in the next video. Started lambing the last 1/3 of the sheep this week, so in 8 weeks we should be done hopefully!
