"That was something that me and Bender started writing together, with this concept where we’d play a note each and create a mono line - with me on the downbeats and Bender on the upbeats. We worked on it until it became fast and super comfortable and became a big part of that song. That’s a really good example of how Hiatus can write, from an idea as small as that.
