Sounds great. However, I have been told that cats like to play and sometimes toss ornaments. I haven't put my cats to the test and I wouldn't really care but those child hood ornaments are extremely important to Ms. Heart.

Over the *years* (since 2014), I have condensed our Christimas deccies down to *two* bins! It feels so good! I can really enjoy the things I have without being overwhelmed! I also wanted to acknowledge that I came into the video thinking you would be doing a lot of reconnecting with emotionally connected items and treating yourself with kindness about them - how great that you have cultivated this space where we can expect such a high level of self kindness and care no matter how much does our doesn't go out the door on that particular day. A few years ago, I went to get my Christmas stuff down and I just looked around the attic and realized how out of hand it had gotten. I knew there were things up there that I definitely wanted to use. There were a few things that I definitely wanted to get rid of. Each year, I put things on the right that I'm unsure of using and things on the left that I'm using for sure. Then when the next year rolls around, I see if I'm going to use those unused last year things. Some I can immediately get rid of, others, I'm still not sure of. I do this each year and it has been amazing how much I've gotten rid of. It isn't an immediate fix, but I'm still reducing the pile. Keep up the good work!

I have my Christmas items down to 4 bins, 2 wreaths a larger indoor nativity scene, and 1 large divided ornament bin and one small bin. You only need to keep what you are actually decorating with-anything else is unused excess and no point in just leaving it in bins year to year. I have ornaments from childhood and some vintage items, but realized that having excess is not enjoyable. Truly loving the fewer amount of items is bringing me much more joy. I gave away a bunch of items to friends or donated. It is a freeing experience. Best of luck!

Great progress! We just had a flood issue in our storage room se we must declutter reorganize but my kids are happy they can play with xmas decor a little too early
I think it may be due to watching your videos that I've been extra on top of trying to declutter and organize everything. I've been already slowly doing it by selling and cleaning out old clothes, but now recently I made all these calls and things to get rid of our very very old loveseat we never sit on. It took up a lot of space and blocked the window, making it hard to get to the plants, and we never sat on it. It was so heavy and such a pain to get taken away but it's gone! Now we have a big space in front of the window for our Christmas tree!! Yay! That couch was 20+ yrs old, older than me hahahah.
