Well the guy lost his mother when he was a child, looked up to a man who favoured his brother. Basically raised his brother too , he never got to live a normal life and never really experienced true love then when he did they made her forget he existed to protect them. So if he treats life like a joke given his history I can understand

I think that when he stares at the camera after Becky leaves is the funniest thing, considering that Jenssen has done that on a few occasions, and it goes from being Dean to being Jenssen just for that split second, almost like he's quietly asking the writers 'Why is this happening?'
I made the decision to rewatch everything all the way from Season 1, because YES I'M A MARTYR. Everything is already so much more bittersweet leading up to the ending. I have the urge to cry every time I watch each and every episode.
