- In this video, our foreigners friends try famous Indian Drinks including Lassi, Kashmiri Chai and Roh Afza. Our friends are from eight different countries, including Spain, France, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Finland.

Initially I was thinking why all of them found rooh afza tooo sweet, then I saw the amount of syrup you used for 7,8 glasses. 😄
Actually you can add the syrup according to your taste. We generally add 1 (max 2) spoonful in one glass of cold water.
Roohafza is traditionally not synthetic at all - the recipe is a herbal infusion that is meant to cool a body down. The name translates to ' refresher of the soul' and it is meant for the scorching summers of the subcontinent.
Even in India, people are divided in their opinions about the beverage. I like it. The sweetness can be controlled by adjusting the dilution or by substituting water with milk. I love it best when used to sweeten plain curd.

I think you should have serve roohfza in cold milk instead of water it taste much better for me like that 😍
add few drops of lemon per glass in rooh afza, it will be less sweet and a bit sour taste as well, that is more drinkable and soothing.

Pink kashmiri tea is salty with unique flavor...all our moms have it while gossiping with frnds.. neighbour's.. sisters on cold winter nights pist dinner...ooh what fond memories😊😊

Rooh afza ( not synthetic its herbal) has variants like added in cold milk and ice or with ice water and squeeze of lemon. Definitely less quatity in ice water gives better taste and aroma of rose. Its refreshing widely used in month of ramazan at iftar (breaking the fast) time.
Lassi can be sweet or salty. Traditionally for breakfast sweet and in summer with lunch salty but diluted ( less in consistency)
Kashmiri chai (pink tea) is used with salt+sugar and nuts (crushed pistachios and almonds) combo or can be used as one likes only sweet or only salt or mix.
You guys should do a video where everyone gets something from their country for eachother to try

Kashmiri tea turns pink by boiling the dry tea leaves with pinch of sodium bicarbonate, without that it turns dull white when milk is added.

Rooh afza 3table spoonful for 300 mL of cold water and add half of lemon. Tastes good like that or use it to flavour lassi.

Looking at the video's title, I would've easily thought this was going to be about tasting Pakistani beverages because those are extremely popular in Pakistan! Especially rooh afza, it's very common during the month of Ramadan. Kashmiri chai is also a Pakistani favourite. Hope to see you try Pakistani brands next :)
Rooh afza was invented in Delhi, India. Kashmiri chai is from Srinagar, also in India.
