My Grandma‘s first language was Spanish. Because I have ancestors who spoke Spanish, I’d love to learn it as well.

I really like those rolling transcripts a lot more than just audio like you get with Pimsleur

My mom is from Mexico and I grew up hearing and understanding the language but I never truly learned how to speak. I've definitely lost a lot of the language and it's always been a goal of mine to be fluent not only for myself but as a "gift" to my mom🥰 I tried Pimsleur about a year ago and loved it but fell off the wagon and did feel like I needed a little more vocab and grammar. Rocket sounds perfect and I like how I can pay for a lifetime and not feel the pressure of monthly payments!

Heyo! I love absolutely love my Rocket Japanese and although there are other good language courses out there, Rocket is the one that I'll keep coming back to if I ever want to learn others. The lessons are so good at making you understand the language and remembering words. Plus it has lifetime access and I don't even look at any program that doesn't offer that option.

My great grandparent spoke the language quite fluently but my interest in learning the language is more about wanting to visit Spain. Wonderful food, great places and I plan on doing a Camino Compostela pilgrimage sooner than later.Nice review, also it would be really nice to be able to use the app on the commute. Cheers...

Thank you for the review! The pros outweigh the cons! I am an audio learner so Rocket Spanish is a good fit for me. I don’t care about visuals and driving mode (not good at multitasking lol). It’s good for the price and I enjoy it.

Thanks for the video really good insight youre giving here. I have tried the trial for rocket Spanish and it’s generous enough to get an idea of how the program works. And if I get it I know I won’t regret it. But like you said the lessons can take a while to do. Thankfully it can be broken up. But it’s not like Busuu with the use of pictures. And it can hold your hand a lot with the audio lessons. Not bad though. They have a lot of cool little sections you can dip into outside the main lessons. As well as the survival Spanish sections which can be really fun in breaking up the “grind” of going through the languages.
    Thank you for the video.

Why do you want to learn Spanish?
I’m a medical professional who wants so badly to be able to communicate with Spanish patients that come to my hospital. Because being able to communicate effectively is part of the healing process as well.
Also, I do want to address the issue that about the lessons being a little long. I think like you said earlier in the video the best way to learn Spanish is through speaking and listening for a good amount of time and on a regular basis. Not necessarily immersion but definitely a good amount of time on a regular basis. I will definitely keep Rocket Spanish in mind for some of my top choices. I’m still trying to make up my mind though

Hey there @TestPrepInsight :: I am convinced that "Anyone" (with the right approach and attitude) can learn a new skill within 6-8 months -- as long as you FIND-A-WAY to squeeze it into your current daily routine.
Now you, as a person ( or TEAM) who has examined these "language learning" apps & software packages --- balancing the Pros and Cons of each...
QUESTION:: IF I was a person who wanted to learn Spanish (at a comfortable conversation pace - Mostly in the workforce) which "software package" would you recommend ? Do you recommend a combination of these apps? If So, which.)
I am determined to learn Spanish (mostly speak and read) within 12 months (with a Goal of being comfortable in a conversation by 6 months). I plan to dedicate 60-90 min a day. Which software(s) / app(s) would you recommend?
YOUR CONTENT is VERY HELPFUL, much appreciated.

There are definitely some differences between Castilian Spanish and Latin Spanish. If you're strictly speaking one dialect or the other, might make sense to learn just that dialect. Rocket tends to focus on Latin Spanish. If you're interested, Pimsleur offers a Castilian Spanish course
