    안녕하세요 선생님.
Can I also use 못 먹다 instead of 안 먹다?
Or, can you check if I understand the difference between 못 먹다 and 안 먹다?
    Let's say 닭고기 알레르기가 있다:
닭고기 못 먹는데, 그고기 안 들어간 게 뭐예요?
    - this means, I can't eat chicken (due to external factors- allergy) so is there any food that doesn't contain chicken meat?
닭고기 안 먹는데, 그고기 안 들어간 게 뭐예요?
    - this means, I don't eat chicken or I am not eating chicken (I choose not to eat it now whether I have an allergy or not, or I just don't want/ prefer to eat it now)
I feel that 안 has broader usage than 못. Is it correct?
Lastly, what is the difference between 빼 and 없이? I think they both mean without? I am not sure.
    감사함니다.

      안녕하세요 ☺
Yes, of course you can use 못 먹다. But as you already know, the meaning is slightly different.
안 먹다 means 'I don't eat xx and 못 먹다 means 'I can't eat xx.
You made very good example sentences and explanations. I'd like to correct one thing. It's more natural to say without 그 고기, or just repeat 닭고기 again.
닭고기 못 먹는데, (닭고기) 안 들어간 게 뭐예요?
닭고기 안 먹는데, (닭고기) 안 들어간 게 뭐예요?
I thought 안 and 못 were just different but I understand why you feel that 안 has broader usage than 못. There is one thing that you should remember. Korean people tend to use 못 even if they choose not to do something. For example, 'Sorry that I didn't call you'. People usually say 전화 못 해서 미안해. I think it's because culturally people want to give the impression that it's not entirely their faults.
      🧐Difference between 빼 and 없이.
빼다 is a verb, and 없이 is an adverb.
For example, 살을 빼다, to lose weight (take your fat away from your body), 너 없이 못 살아, I can't live without you.
Thanks for your great questions. Hope that helps. 😀

@@justlearnkorean Thank you 선생님 for the corrections and clarifications.
I thought 안 has broader usage because for active verbs, for me, it can mean two things: I DON'T DO or I AM NOT DOING (depends on the context- whether you choose not to do something or not want to do something).
While for descriptive verbs, the usage is clearer, Someone/ Something is/are/am NOT Adjective.
      Is it correct?
For 못, it just mean CAN'T DO. But, thank you very much 선생님 for sharing the cultural information about 못. I learned something new.😊

안녕하세요 선생님. I apologize for going off subject. But, could you perhaps assist me in correcting my sentences?
한국어 시험을 봐서 2급 성적을 받았습니다.
한국어 시험을 봐서 2급 성적이 있었습니다.
Is 점수 same with 성적? Are they interchangeable?
    정말 감사합니다 선생님.

    • @justlearnkorean

      안녕하세요. ☺ No problem.
      It depends.
점수 means '𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 that indicate mark, grade, score'
성적 means '𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 of a performance'
So when you talk about things in numbers, like your sentence, you can use 점수. For example, exam, sports match, competition, points of something.
Whereas, when you talk about just the results, including both in numbers and not in numbers, also like your sentence, you can use 성적. 성적 seems to have a broader meaning but actually it's used only for exam and school performance.
Does it answer to your question? 🧐

@@shinbasco 😀 1st sentence is correct. very natural. But the rest need a little bit of changes.
한국어 시험을 봐서 2급 성적이 있었습니다.
있었습니다 means I had and I don't have it anymore. So you need the time when you had, for example,
      → 3년 전에/예전에 한국어 시험을 봐서 2급 성적이 있었습니다.
      한국어 시험을 봐서 85점수를 받았습니다.
점수 can't be used with actual numbers directly. Because 점수 is not a scoring unit. But 2급 is fine, as there is 급. 급 is used directly with 2 as a scoring unit. So you just need 점, which means points. It's used with numbers. So the sentence should be
→ 한국어 시험을 봐서 85점을 받았습니다.
      한국어 시험을 봐서 85점가 있었습니다.
The same thing here, 있었습니다. And 이 is followed after 점.
      → 3년 전에/예전에 한국어 시험을 봐서 85점이 있었습니다.
      Overall, very good 👍
