@@whitestealthable Probably because big record labels rip off artists and take a lot of their hard earned money. Recording and publishing an album is pretty expensive ans requires a lot of logistics and time which artists don't have time for. That's when you go to a record label which will probably try to own you and your work. Hope this answet is helpful :D

Yes, This is a Joe Sample improv influenced (conscious or unconscious) piece. Joe was so lyrical in his playing and Yohan demonstrates the same in this piece.
I usually watch a video all the way through before I go back and relisten to my favorite parts. But I couldnt. This was so fire that I couldnt let it go. Truly one of the greatest of our time.

This guy is too much of a good thing. I, myself, had decades ago imagined of improvising on the piano to New Wave music but had never got around to it although it'd been in the back of my mind, plus I knew it would be a big time consuming technical hurdle, but here Yohan, this incredible youngster, was able to bring his ideas onto the keyboard with no sweat, and I understand he does it just by ear, just boggles my mind.
