There's nothing hidden about it. One more subscription service that gives you nothing of permanence for your money. This is what most companies' dreams are made of.
There is such a great opportunity here, you could buy a 10K watch for example on finance, then give it to these guys to rent it out for you and let the monthly payments of your finance be paid for by someone renting it and then get free watch the end of it whilst also building your credit rating.
It’s a cool concept. I saw this in the U.K. many years ago on a much smaller scale. Nice way to test drive a watch and see if it’s for you. Or experience a nice unobtainable watch or one you’re on a very long waiting list for. As for faking being Uber rich to your peers - well I’ll leave that to others not really my thing. But overall this is a natural progression of the luxury market. You can hire wedding suits and dresses why not go the whole hog and strap on a mad expensive watch. Just wondering about damage though. As ex dealer Paul Thorpe says, someone not intending to hang onto a watch can do more damage to it in a week than a careful owner would do in ten years.
Personally I would never do such thing .. wasting money on rent - no no no!! $275-1500 for rent- hell nooooooooooo..... for $1500 I could buy very good watch ... and never worry about that!!!
A company named Eleven James rented watches from 2013-2018. It shut down due to financial issues. How is this one different? Renting other people’s watches instead of locking up capital by renting your own?
18:33 He knows he FKED UP!!! The guy thinks Michael will thrown in his million $$$$ watch collection for some buddy to rent it and wear... What a Bummer.
It’s November 2020 and when you click the links to the vyrent website and app it doesn’t work. If you search for the app in the Apple App Store it redirects to watch box so it was probably acquired? Did the concept of renting fail? Or did they pivot?
The only winners I see here are the “gurus” and a savy guy who goes and buys a few good watches pre-owned for a good price and uploads them and makes money every month by having the site rent it out for them.

yeah a lot of people figured out but there are a lot of dumb people who falling for this....that man looks and sounds so guilty !
@@lefthook217 hmm i was thinking the same way.. like guilty looking but risky with all this.. Kind of like dealing with mafias or something BUT with all due repsect i dont no it all sounds so complicated and yeah not easy though to rent one of these.. i rather get a new not a used watch or a diamond is falling off because then YOU are responsible to pay that and one missing diamond is already above 1000 dollars MORE per diamond added on a watch.
You guys are all being paranoid and harsh on this guy without any real reason. You are all just scared because its a new concept. Whenever people are exposed to new concepts they freak out.
@William Scott Lmao you can literally make the same arguments about Airbnb and car rental services🤣 yet both are generating billions in revenue
“Hey cool watch!, where did you get it?” ...Oh I’m just renting it...”ah, that’s great, congrats...”😐
Nephroghost I presume people who rents these luxury stuff won't just say I'm renting it. They surely will pretend they own it.
Nephroghost 😂 you killed me
It's just like a car you can't afford and you rent it....it ain't yours but you act like it is. Only a watch doesn't have a licenseplate with the name of the company on it 🤣
What a great idea The guy had a good answer for questions and seemed fair in his evaluations.
ArchieLuxury could have used this service for ten years...
Great content as always but it’s just not my cup of tea! I believe there is no point is trying to show off expensive stuff , just earn enough and buy the thing once and for all!
This app aged well.
4:25 See what my neighbour thinks about my car? If I had the money to park a Ferrari or a Lambo in my driveway I wouldn't give a flying crap of what my neighbour thinks about it!! And, if I had that kind of money I would have no neighbour!
Something about the salesman gives off a bad vibe. Like there’s a hidden catch
There's nothing hidden about it. One more subscription service that gives you nothing of permanence for your money. This is what most companies' dreams are made of.
He maybe a jew that's why
David Lecky Thats probably why
@@King.Esquire888 😂😂😂😂
You watch too many movies with bad guys who look like him probably.
2.05: you can buy a country somewhere with that earrings..
There is such a great opportunity here, you could buy a 10K watch for example on finance, then give it to these guys to rent it out for you and let the monthly payments of your finance be paid for by someone renting it and then get free watch the end of it whilst also building your credit rating.
True.
i just guess the time , i'm never more than a few minutes out
It’s a cool concept.
Nobody:
Michael: I’m gonna wear an iceberg in my ear 👂

Dummy me too
“Soldered on two tone “ kind of gives you an idea of who you’re dealing with here lmao 😂
Michael asks a question
The guy: ok very simple
this guy seems shady..
describing the rolex presidential he says, " custom diamonds, factory its factory.."
Tyler
I noticed that too. The difference in the price is 50% from retail. Lol.
Crypto King exactly! Goes to show you must always check the paperwork and only buy with certified official documents.
Personally I would never do such thing .. wasting money on rent - no no no!! $275-1500 for rent- hell nooooooooooo..... for $1500 I could buy very good watch ... and never worry about that!!!
Yea for people who what to pose as someone with money.
I think Vyrent owes Michael and Adam a 6 month complementary subscription at least for this enlightening video !! Nice find Adam !! :)
Good idea but not for me watches are very personal
A company named Eleven James rented watches from 2013-2018. It shut down due to financial issues. How is this one different? Renting other people’s watches instead of locking up capital by renting your own?
Very entuthiastic guy. You can tell he really loves his business.
Yeah. Like he knows where to bite.
shut up... he looks and sounds guilty this type of business is most likely a scam ....they would charge for scratches that already on the watch !!!!
This dude comes off as a slimy used car salesman 🤮 but Michael is the true hustler cause he’s the one that got paid for this video 😂
How exactly is he slimy? He was polite the whole video lol
@@chrono8233 Not saying he's slimy but the most slimy fucks you'll ever meet will be polite every second you talk to them, that's part of the hustle.
Source?
Anyone else watching this in the am? Lol xD
It's just turned 8 03 PM i n Sydney Australia.
yup
No
@@Noname-gh3sq it's now 8 00 am in Sydney Australia.
Then all you need is an author who writes a good story for your new girlfriend, why you "sold" the VIP watch after one week.
Michael you are a nice Man, dont change never.
This guy reminds me off DJ khalid “how my spouse feels”
Rappers will love this app
Enough watches... we want house tours and a quick tour of Michael house 😍
Not a Chance, to Paranoid ".
'Diamonds fall off' yeah right...
With bad aftermarket full diamonds this could happen. So those ultra VIP watches are all aftermarket
Real authentic diamond watch never falls apart.. Only fake replica diamond watches will.. That business smells cheesy and they look like mafias. I wouldn't take my risk. Hell no.
@@user-sv8cr9ox1t exactly, shady af that place
@@stiggeltime9182 Yes.. It looks cheesy.. and complication. it's not like you can easily rent a nice luxury watch just like that. There is more to it.. Plus if anything happens to the watch your having to pay the value price of that luxury watch. Time to sell your house and your life to avoid prison time. But yes authentic diamond watches never falls apart or at least from all i know... Only fake replica watches will fall apart. Insured did he said? but same time he mentioned his after the person who steals it. It makes no sense. I wouldn't take the risk looks like a modern mafia team. Sorry but too risky for that sort of thing.
@@user-sv8cr9ox1t Can't agree more. Would definitely stay away from that place
Looks like they aren’t open anymore? Links don’t work. Maybe they changed their name?

OMG....too funny!!!
sure, but he wouldn't understand anything on this channel. period.
Better then I deserve
how do you prevent gold from being rubbed off the watch ,and how do you prevent watch from having its parts sourced and replaced with off shore parts
I thought that the T-shirt was about peter marco. 😂
Yes. With the diamond on back.
Im going to visit Peter marco and give him a spanish salami and Jamon serrano for a christmas present. BIG happy smiles. Maybe i will get a nice little diamond for free.
This is really cool.. The opportunity to be able to wear a watch that we never thought we could afford.. Hopefully this blows up for them !!
So if the high level sub is for 1.5k a year and you get 6 swaps for 40k watches, you can go 26 years with 160 different insured watches..
Maybe it's not that bad of a deal, knowing your personal watch can loose value over time, all the possible service expenses after the guarantee expires and so on..
911madza It’s 1.5k a month, not a year. So 18k a year.
@@arkawiproductions3888 yeah, it seemed too good to be true.. xdd sure thing, for 36k in 2 years it's definitely better just to buy and own one... it would be nearly half a million in 26 years then, and someone could buy like 12 of them, lol ;)
@@911madza or after 26 years saving your half million buy a Jacob & Co Astronomia!!!!!!
@@damot1051 hahah, true dat :)
If I could afford another car payment I would do this in a heart beat. This is so cool
Sorry, for once this was boring! :;(
Not boring at all. At least we know what options are out there. If you think it's a scam then don't be a part of it. Info is always good.
@@petepure3387 , This is not about scams. This subject in the new YT is all about renting, and exactly which collector would rent a watch????? That is a boring story, which has no support in a collectors point of view. And if you find one, it is not a collector, and Michael in this video seems no collector at all having interest into this type of subject.
Just think, what would you say, if all his cars were rented? And he actually only had one car , changing them as they were rented :)
@Wotan777 source?
I think its a good business concept and it can work good.
It is nothing for me as a customer. I link memories to my watches and when you buy smart, it is possible to hold or gain value.
Just work for it and buy it.
I can understand it totally when you want to wear an exotic watch you would never buy, but want to experience it. Money should not be the limiting factor, wich is keeping from buying.
Honestly it seems like a nice business model! How hope it works out for these guys
Love it !!!! Fantastic way to enjoy top end watches ! Will you be opening an office in London anytime soon ?
what happenes if the watch goes "missing" while in the customers possession and they claim it was stolen ?
At the end of the day you're responsible for it. They will just charge you for the cost of the watch.
There’s a security deposit to cover their insurance claim if you can prove it was stolen.
It is called an insurance fraud. And people go to prison for that :)
@@ashishpatel350 Then what is the purpose of insurance if they charge you the full cost? If you crash a rental car they don't charge you the cost of a new car.
You all apparently didn't watch or pay attention to the video....they explained this.
Admire the thought that went into this business idea. This is something I am seriously considering.
It's perfect for people wanting to try a watch out before they buy it.
you can go to AD or boutique to try a watch
Choleer exactly.
lol you can try out a watch at any watch store
@@ChrisGugliuzza but you can't take it home with you for a week or 2 without having to fully pay for it....

Imagine spending lots of money renting watches to look rich, sad.
The one question you didn't ask. What happens when you change watches, are you without a watch for a day or more or do you keep your current watch until the new one arrives.
Great idea with huge potential.
We just saw a real watch gooroo in action !
Interesting and a very beautiful idea...how Michael asks questions is awesome...Nice video
Uncut Gems (2019)
It's a great concept, just like car rentals like eToro etc if they're going down the consumer to consumer market. Don't listen to the negative comments, content like this is great.
