Amazing how he grabs fifth while he's still steering through the final turn with much load on the car - and he's a human DSG, same driver like in the Sebring video where he goes from 6th to 1st in 2 seconds
just because a gearbox whines doesn’t mean it’s a dog box. but it probably has straight cut gears or the drivetrain in general is noisy, hence the whine you hear.
I have a MY00 GT3R and it uses syncronized gearsets so shut your mouth. Porsche only designed 996 to use dog engagement WITH SEQUENTIAL gearbox starting year 2004.
He's alright, but that's the not the reason he's able to shift fast. It's the design of the gearbox, obviously a dog box where you don't need the clutch to shift....

How about the fact that he is also an INCREDIBLE driver!
He is a true profesional
@S1nthetiK I agree, the guys toe-heel downshifts are just nuts.

*****CAPTAIN OBVIOUS********
Gee, I think he's been around this course many times before, perhaps even in the same car!
He can shift like this because it's a racing gearbox and race engine (which revs to redline in about a quarter-second) folks...
OMG I LOVE GT!!!!!!!
damn he shifts hard,
smoke them gears baby!!!
ive ever dream to be a pilot thats why i just play video games lol
Wow just like GTR2.
Same car as the Watkins glen video?
Yes defo not a standard box. Completely different ratios and that whine. . .
It's a standard gearbox. you see engage the clutch if you look closely at his leg as he's shifting up and down.
