In this track, “Started from the Middle”, Mr Harlow illustrates his rather mediocre come up in the music industry. The track title is a play on Drake’s popular hit Started From The Bottom, in that Mr Harlow acknowledges his privileged upbringing and does not claim to have had a hard or tedious childhood. He started from the Middle.

Jack grew up very privileged in the Highlands of Louisville...don't get mistaken people he grew up very comfortably...and the line where cafeteria food being really bad is hilarious bc the food at Atherton highschool where I also was in the same grade nd school as him was notoriously inedible it was very bad lunch awesome how humble he is tho to not hide any of that I remember all the students show other peopel his stuff saying he will be something one day and look at him now famous as hell good for him its rare celebrity's stay humble

Drake is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Drake🔥
