Andrea and Dean, I am SO sorry that you had to put up with the drainage problem and then to find out your air ducts were falling? on to each other. Then you find out your closet and banquette/window seat has to be removed because of mold damage and also your books had to be cleaned off and book case had to be removed and cleaned under. You both had a great attitude during all of these challenges.
Your bathroom wall paper and paint and shower tiles match perfectly and look VERY nice. That was a LOT of work but I know that you will enjoy the fruits of your labour. Great job Andrea and your biggest cheerleader and team helper; your husband Dean. Once everything gets cleaned out and up you will get to enjoy your home all over again. You may get your creative juices flowing again Andrea and even change up a few things just for the sake of change. It looked great before; but I know that you are always thinking ahead. Andrea, you always do good work. A tip for you vacuum filter. Take the filter off and put it into a 13 gallon trash bag, close it tightly. Then start tapping the filter inside the bag onto ground outside is better. Do this as vigorously as possible without tearing up the filter. This will remove a lot of the stuff. Then use your air compressor and blow out the rest. You will be able to reuse the filter several times before buying a new one. The filters I buy for my Craftsman for drywall are somewhere around $30.00 each.

That wallpaper is gorgeous! Heck, the whole bathroom is gorgeous! Love the color drench, the dark'n'moody vibe, that mirror is absolute perfection, you guys are killing it!
Wallpaper can be so frustrating... They say it covers X square feet, and it just...absolutely does not! I got adventerous and used it in one tiny little feature area, and I had to reorder not once, but TWICE to cover the space! It took four rolls of wallpaper to cover the square footage one roll said it covered... D'oh!

So much for you both to deal with. God is looking after you though. The leak that ruined the floors revealed mould, which would have made your whole family very sick if it wasn’t remedied. And the drainage problem led to the AC being checked, and that problem is being remedied. God’s path isn’t always direct, but it’s always right. I’m sure there was some frustration and tears off-camera, but you both have such a good perspective even through tough times. Much love from Australia. 🇦🇺

Andrea, you need a chalk line on the wall when you wallpaper because walls are never straight. There are a lot of good tutorials about where to place your first piece of wallpaper, etc.

You did an amazing job, as usual! You are one of my favorite DIYers. May I offer a suggestion? When ordering wallpaper, figure out what you need and then add another 1-2 rolls. Most unopened wallpaper can be returned. This is important because if you run short and need to reorder, you may receive a different lot number. This could mean slight variation in color or pattern. The seams may not match up perfectly. My mother taught me this years ago and it’s saved me a lot of aggravation. I’m 70 now and have been doing this a long time. ♥️ (P.S. ALWAYS check your lot numbers!)

I do love how excited yall get for every project because nothing feels better than your vision coming together. The one thing I notice about every project though is the preparation. It would drive me nuts and I'm sure it does yall too but not planning ahead with material or supplies always seems to be a constant in all of your videos.
