    The WWE style adaptation for Sin Cara was definitely the downfall of his character. I would killed for that Rey vs Sin Cara feud if he had gotten over. The case of Bobby Lashley is such a sad story at least in WWE anyway. TNA/Impact Bobby Lashley was easily the greatest character development for a person.

    • @alienlife7754
      @alienlife7754 4 года назад +32

      Don’t know if you have ever noticed, but the WWE seems to treat their black stars almost as comedy acts. Look at the New Day. The ridiculous pancake shit. The stupid dancing and mugging for the camera Or R Truth as a hopelessly moronic character. Titus Worldwide was nothing but a comedy routine. Remember Mark Henry’s Sexual Chocolate days? And his affair with May Young? A few other names come to mind troughout the years. Koko Beware and his bird. The Godfather and his hoes. The Junkyard dog and his dumb “Grab Them Cakes” song. Then you have guys like Bobby Lashley or Shelton Benjamin who don’t do comedy very well and what happens to them? Their careers stagnate. The WWE has had a problem with their African American employees for a long time.

    • @CDNIVN
      @CDNIVN 4 года назад +25

      @@alienlife7754 The New Day came up with the pancake and the dancing thing, not WWE. The same is true about R-Truth. Mark Henry was given Sexual Chocolate because he was a)Overpaid b) not that great in the ring c) he had an attitude in the locker room. They were hoping that he would quit so that they didn't have to pay his ridiculous contract. Shelton didn't have charisma at the time and they were just trying to see if they could get anything out of him. Koko Beware was already the Birdman before he was in WWE, and it was his Wife's idea for him to have the bird. If you are going to make accusations, you at least have to know what you are talking about.

    Good to see Lashley has proved people wrong, it’d be hard to say that he isn’t a star right now & it’s brilliant, huge fan of the man & adding MVP alongside him is great for nostalgia & nifty mic skills.

    The "you are a fickle bunch" line took me out. I had to pause the video for a bit. Rarely, if ever, do jokes in videos like this make laugh. Hell, normally they're at best unamusing and at worst reductive, but that was a really good one.

    I'm glad you put Lex Luger at #1. I still say it to this day that was one of the biggest screw ups in wrestling history. That narcissist gimmick was perfect for him they should of kept him a heel the fans wouldn't of crapped on it. Even in the early days of WCW Luger was a heel.

      Yeah I laughed at the bobby lashley one too. Exactly he's doing better now in his current WWE run , being a former 2x WWE champ and US champ and once again becoming very popular! Never heard of Tom McGee, just another jobber who tapped out to the hitman. I loved Mr Kennedy...Kennedy he was funny and very entertaining, same with Vladimir kozlov. I'll have to watch Ahmed Johnson's nonsensical promos I'm sure they're as funnier if not more hilarious than ultimate warrior's! Definitely watching Sheamus tea party with Vlad and santino marella! Yeah lex was definitely a missed opportunity in WWE, he did better in WCW. Thanks for sharing!

    I had always been a fan but I'll agree his best stuff was during his last run in TNA.
    He can still go so idk maybe they still have time to do SOMETHING but they sure used up a lot of that time with the Rusev/Lana storyline that never had a proper payoff.

    The hilarious and sad thing about Mr. Kennedy is that there is one thing he did that outlasted his stay in the WWE. He was the first Money in the Bank winner to refer to themselves as "MR Money in the Bank." And while I don't know if that tradition is still ongoing since I don't follow modern wrestling outside buying the annual WWE 2K titles on clearance to play with the character creator, I do know they were still doing it for a few years following his leaving the WWE.
